Prime Day is next week. I am going to the end of Amazon building my cart.

Cooked staff lunch at church. Weather is forecast to change from summer to fall tonight so I will unbox appropriate clothes and put others back in box until next year.

E-bikes along the beach!

E-bikes are cheating...

I feel like Superman being able to ride 20mph mile after mile without breaking a sweat all over town. Add to that a helmet with mesh intercom between friends, background music and Google maps turn by turn voice and it's a game changer.

I don't think I can go back to pedal only. Just pedal power now seems so, um, well, pedestrian. smiling smiley

I love my e-bike! I don't think I could go back to pedal only either.

Has anyone heard from Heather? She was a bike enthusiast.

I'm often up doing something at 2 or 3 am.
Then so tired by 8:00. Trying to force myself to stay up later.
Came home after subbing. Then it was loads of cooking. Made some delicious meals for our guests coming tomorrow. They are my husband's colleague and his wife. Tomorrow, annual blood tests and then, my daughter has an obstacle course race. Evening would be spent entertaining. So, a busy day tomorrow but I am glad it is a long 4 day weekend for our school district. No school for daughter or me!
During my morning meeting there was a fire drill-first time that's happened in the 15 years I've been attending it. Hubby and I drove to his childhood stomping grounds and walked around. Picked up a bag of food from someone in my Buy Nothing group and used some of the ingredients (tempeh, dry mango, frozen vegetables in sauce, blueberries, and coconut water) as inspiration ingredients for dinner.

Three exceptional books in a row. That made the sinus infection bearable and me happy, in general. Today was exactly as autumn should be at least once per year.

It's been over a year that I took the cover off our sports car and the inspection is well past expiration. Adjusted the tire pressure, checked the oil level, added a small amount of coolant. Started the engine and monitored it with a bidirectional scanner. All parameters seemed fine and no codes. Drove it to inspection and it passed with no issues as expected. Brought it home, reconnected a trickle charger, let it cool off and covered it again.
I went to the church to volunteer at the food bank. I had the wrong day. It's next Saturday. I have only been doing this for 7 years.

Stayed up late for triple overtime football. Technically, the other team won by two points. In the reality of my fan heart, my team won because they are doing so much more in each game despite a few challenges. Winning! is applicable here.

I'm in Rutherford NJ working at ProgStock, the northeast's only international progressive rock music festival. I'm here in my role with the Bob Moog Foundation, the most meaningful of my multiple employment situations. I'm humbled to work in honor of one of the men who made my life possible.

Have synthesizers, will travel...
In the hunt for a new lamp. The one I have is funky and from four or five design plans ago. And, it doesn't work and would probably break if I tried a diy repair. Let there be light!

Over the weekend Hubby and I quarterbacked the kitchen (and organized volunteers to make the green beans and sauerkraut) for our church's Sausage Supper. Records show that a little under 1,000 meals were served. I came home beyond tired, and yesterday moved at about 10%. A second good night of sleep last night has me back to normal.

This morning is my first physical therapy appointment to address a shoulder issue that's making it hard to do things like pour myself a cup of coffee from a heavy carafe. Priorities :-)

Two days ago I turned on the heat for the first time this season. Yesterday was the first time that it actually snapped on. With energy efficient windows and a newly insulated attic with all leaky areas sealed, the heat is seldom actually needed although overnight lows were in the high 40s. Today I will store most of my summery clothing and bring out some cool/cold weather things. Then will walk from a parking shop to 2 of my banks to make deposits and get cash. At home, the priority is to finish the kitchen clean-up started yesterday.

Based in MD, near DC
Shopping from the Carolinas to New York
Have video cam; will travel

Poor customer service? Don't get mad; get video.

Slept late and, apparently, knocked out the last dregs of the sinus infection. Huzzah. Will.stop after lots of laundry and find another day for thrift (searching for sweaters & lamp).

I have a bad, nagging cough. The doctor says it could be due to seasonal changes. She prescribed something. So far, nothing has helped.
Doing trail maintenance with my hiking group. Favourite day of the week. Turned down a favourite teacher though sad smiley
Hoping for a good outcome for Mary Lou Retton. Listening to tapering rain, watching slight breeze, and hunkering in my blankie. Will postpone today's errand until tomorrow or later in order to stay warm and dry now. Hope I have The Great Pumpkin on DVD. Did I keep this oldie but goodie?

I had that same thing a few years ago. My Momtold me to drink tea with honey and lemon. That actually worked.

I cleaned my fridge. The culprit of the awful odor was was raw rockfish that got buried on the bottom shelf.

Read some of the online preview of Nancy Jones' new book. No spoilers here, but is there any reason to believe that in due time Mary Lou Retton will improve? Certainly hope so. ! Will read that book as soon as possible because Nancy is strong and ultimately helped George to defeat his addictions. No one else was able to help him to such an extent. Want to know more about her. I found out that Apple TV owns all the rights to the Peanuts materials. They will allow two days for watching seasonal classics for free. In general: no Apple, no Peanuts. Oh, well. I still have copies of some things.

Taking advantage of a warm day before a front comes through and sends the temperatures back to normal. The only issue is dealing with the stink bugs that insist on getting inside!

Beautiful day so I went to several new to me places including one new park and walked over 4 miles all over the place. This way when winter comes I will be content to stay in and do all those house projects.
The older I get the more unwanted hairs are sprouting on my upper lip, lower lip, and chin. It's annoying to run a trimmer over the areas every couple of days, so today I decided to get the areas waxed. There's a chain waxing place a couple of miles from my house. I don't know how many years ago I shopped there, but neither my name or phone number was in the system any more and they gave me the new customer discount--50% off!

I went to Trader Joe's nice and hungry. I went to one in a different state because they sell wine. On the way home, I got very lost. Even with my GPS!
