What are you doing today? (besides shopping)

Pork rinds from the Dutch market. The dust went down the wrong pipe.

Eep!

What were you eating? (if you don't mind my asking...)

I had a coughing fit yesterday after eating some snacks. I wasn't choking; I just couldn't catch my breath.

To say it was scary was an understatement.

I definitely felt that when I went for my walk in the morning.

Honny,
Our area had Code Yellow alert for poor air quality yesterday.

Worked from home today. Was super busy. Walked around aimlessly on occasion as there was too little time to start anything. Uuughhh, After work, I stripped bedding and it will stare me in the face until I launder them. I have so much to do. DD's having the most fabulous time in Cancun. I wish silently that I was there.
A little road trip, a little work, a little gift for mil. It is enough.

Nope. Had to postpone gift and visit to mil.

After my post office shops I realized I was very close to the Goodwill Outlet store. I thought briefly about stopping by to find things to mail in the next set of boxes but realized I had neither scale or gloves (to dig through the containers).

Corporate-ordained day off for everyone at the early job. Sleep! Two merches.

House work. Perfect line drying day.
Finally got an inspiration to do some house stuff. Might be able to have visitors in a few weeks?! Yikes!!! Not ready lol
Storm and cold front came through, and I was able to turn off the a/c and open up the windows again!

Worked, cleaned, prepped simple dinner and spent a couple of hours with my girls looking at pictures, videos and tales from Cancun.
Early job is back, complete (replete?) with yesterday's work, today's work, and corporate-provided apology cards for whatever happened or did not happen to yesterday's work. (There is a story, there, and I do not want to know too much about that...)

Hubby and I went to the bookstore, where I purchased him a book that's a scavenger hunt of local attractions. The book is divided into sections by neighborhoods, and we drove to one of them and figured out where all the attractions were. It was a lot of fun.

I am watching Reckoning on Netflix. Good crime thriller.
Work and errands. We might have extra work next week so I am using today for some of next week's to-do list.

I finally put together my accent console from Big Lots. I zigged where I should have zagged and something went wrong with the doors. I need to undo the last few steps and start from scratch.

I bought some batteries for my motion sensor trash can yesterday. While sitting on the sofa to assemble the the console, I found the ones I ordered online last month.

I set all of my houseplants outside to enjoy a drink of rainwater. Since we are expecting rain tomorrow, I will bring them in tomorrow evening.

Early job was early on Sunday! Again! Woot! This, I hope, will be the new normal (even as it is the expected typical condition for the job). Baby steps...

So I am sipping creamy mostly decaf coffee and contemplating the rest of the day. It will probably rain hard enough to "wash" the outside of the car, so I can do something else. Should this one other thing be fun, grunt labor, involve scripts or screenplays, be a book, or something practical like an extra load of laundry? Hmm...

Mostly free day. So far, I completed three projects. Must celebrate these three. Woot! Woot! Woot!

I gave myself ten minutes to play online before starting project # 4. Gotta' go! smiling smiley
