SoCal, Yes, there is some coronovirus here in SC, tho the numbers are finally trending downwards. We are a very small church. There were less than 20 at this get-together on Saturday. We are the same bunch that always meet on Sundays and Wednesdays. We keep our distance, elbow bump and everyone carries and uses hand sanitizer! None of us have had any symptoms of the virus. Our Pastor was tested about 10 days ago when he went through out-patient surgery to have his gall bladder out, and was negative. Hubby and I were recently tested so I could show my son I was negative so I could go visit my grandbabies. So we are careful when we get together, but we are small and are cautious not to get too close. At our Church service on Sunday, families sit together, but others sit several rows apart and/or across the aisles....and we use our hand sanitizer!!@SoCalMama wrote:

Got in a short time ago from a special shindig for our Pastor. He has been at our small church for 23 years now, came in August 1997.(We've been there for the past 14 of those). Plus his birthday is in August, so every year we have a combo BD/Anniv meal at church for him. We had BBQ, Chicken tenders, pork & beans, potato salad, cole slaw, 3 bean salad, grape salad, banana pudding, oatmeal choc chip cookies, potato chips, canteloupe, watermelon, PLUS.....his birthday cake!! SO much food!! Everyone was able to take some home. We have enough for tomorrow's Sunday dinner!
