Mum told me she canceled their newspaper subscription for now. I am planning to make Ojo de Dios (God's eye) which is basically weaving yarn over Popsicle sticks. Something to do other than cooking, homeschooling and cleaning.

Vacuumed/washed floors/cleaned bathrooms. Made a coconut cream pie with instant pudding, coconut milk, coconut flakes and organic coco-whip! Yum Yum! Also made some no-bake pnut butter/oatmeal/coconut flakes/cocoa, etc cookies. No heating up the kitchen for me today! Mid 80's out today here in upper SC! Windows open and fans on. Not ready to turn AC on. Going to be in 60s next week.

I"m mowing the yard today (yes it already needs it) and then I will rake and clean up the front garden assuming I still have any energy left. Then I'll come in and start a pizza crust for dinner tonight. I'm all out of fresh veggies for salad and trying not to make another order until after the first of the month. I've successfully avoided baking by keeping busy with other tasks. Healthy eating, so far so good considering the circumstances.

One of the reasons we downsized to a condo was to get rid of yard work. Right now, though, it would be nice to have a yard to putter in.

On the next warm day I will weed all of the big pots on the deck off of my living room. But, I am wondering about getting flowering plants. There is a small family owned grocery store here that carries mulch and garden plants. Maybe it would be a "safe" place to not get a big fine for visiting a business ("just" a garden store) since I would also buy some groceries (and wine!) while there.

Some of the independent garden shops in my area have started advertising curbside delivery. You order and pay on their website. I think a good part of the experience is picking out the exact six-packs,and hanging baskets though
