Honny,
My local Freecycle seems to be dormant. If you would like some plain white dinner plates, a couple of frying pans, a Dutch oven and other stuff, PM me! Should have thought of you before! Everything in good-excellent condition.

Just did Marriott's fabulous breakfast, early, very early (8:00am). Have the day to myself with a full tummy, traffic not to bad. Much rather go to Burbank than the city 405 freeway.

After a day on the couch, I am up and at 'em today. I am rarin' to go! I won't get far. I need to find enzyme-based cleaner or cleanser to clean up my biological mess from a hapless teddy bear who did not know that he should suddenly sprout wings and get out of harm's way. Then, I need to work with it for awhile. Sigh. I had such high hopes for productivity. But I learned that if I am going to spew, I should be far, far away from teddy bears who are cute as decor but unable to escape trauma.

Thank you! I sent you a PM.

I still have nightmares about the 405.

I am prepping a car for lease return, then doctors appointment, then getting some groceries at a membership club, then meeting a buddy for a drink, then head home and turn around for a church meeting. Very full day today. (and working in there somewhere, good thing I can work remotely)

Orlando - lightly shopping NC
Looking for jeans. The incident that "pinked" a teddy bear also ruined a pair of jeans. The bear still has a little pink, but I will keep him. He is fun. The jeans are a dime a dozen at thrift stores. I can get another pair of those, eventually. First, I must remove the pepto from the car. Yes, I checked for a car wash shop... the nearest one is hundreds of miles away from here... How silly that the car is in the pink. grinning smiley

Anyway, I have slept, read edifying books, and done partial workouts on the porch. It is warm enough to do a little exercise outdoors. Love this!

I met a friend for a chat at a local coffee shop. Ironically, though, I did not get anything to drink there. Later in the dayI hit up a Starbucks for the free birthday drink they loaded onto my card yesterday. The barista talked me into getting the larger size, because it was on the house. Now, seven hours later, I still feel caffeinated.

I did a gas station shop in a new location yesterday. On the way back home, I got turned around. I took the freeway in the wrong direction by 10 miles or so.

Honny,
I managed to do that on the NJ turnpike last year. Suddenly realized that the sun glare was coming from the wrong direction!!!

Continuing to sort through a TON of stuff to donate, send to attic, or dump. Makes my living and dining rooms look like a dump for a few days! Every time I walk through any room I find something to add to one of the growing piles of STUFF.

Honny,
Don't feel too badly about that....I've done the same thing, in my OWN neck of the woods!!! As for what I'm doing today other than MSing, just regular grocery shopping.
Our area is expecting somewhere between 7-12 inches of snow (depending on which model you look at). Today Hubby and Youngest Son took me out for a birthday lunch. We stopped at the grocery store for some produce on the way home. There were light flakes falling as we drove. At home, Hubby and I hunkered down for the duration. Son gathered his things and left for a friend's house, where he will spend the night. Oh, to be young and foolish again!

Made it through a shift at work. Barely. Slogged through snow a few times to fetch this and that. Chortled because new jeans fit well, are comfortable, and cost little. This is always a good thing in my world. There is need for another visit with mil soon. We are not the caregivers because we are too far away and she defies the very existence of caregiving, except when she needs something done yesterday. Then, look out below!!!!! However, one project has become ours, and we take care of it frequently. It's okay. When mil is "on". she is very fun. These are the good times that we wish could continue indefinitely for her.

Staring at my computer screen and wondering if I should pick up a few more shops to fill out the day....

Here we're waiting for ice to start around 8 pm ... ugh!

ETA: Well, the propane delivery guy just came and filled up our propane tank to our gas fireplace. So even if we lose our power, we'll have heat!!

It's a beautiful day. One small shop and regular work - tax season and overtime has begun. Later I will spend time with the dogs, make some chili, and start taking the tree down. All other decorations are down and done. R&R will be 2 hours of Netflix before bed. I'm watching InstaHotel right now.
What did you make?
