What are you doing today? (besides shopping)

Worked and froze my butt off. Ordered our Christmas PJs from Target inclusive of furry baby love. Tried to neaten up my closet. DH uses minimal space. My girls and I love shoes and purses. We need help, lol.

Finished online holiday shopping today....love it when it's done.
Roasting today the turkey bought on sale in November....making stuffing, squash, green beans.
Finally decided on a health insurance switch, going online today to complete that.
buying holiday bourbon & ginger ale....to tip a few back later.
peace & love to all
@Madetoshop , my Hubby hardly needs his half of the closet. But he claims it as his!!! So, my side is jammed. I am working on that.
Going to a Christmas market.

Due to Canada Post strike, I just haven't shopped at all.
I figure we should drive to Winnipeg to deliver gifts (1300 km). Haven't convinced Hubby to do that, so I've done nothing. ????‍♀️(face palm)

Attended my ADK Christmas meeting where we played the White Elephant ornament exchange game. Not too thrilled about my gift, but it's okay. I should have chosen the gift I brought.
MTS, shoes and purses are my guilty pleasure, seriously. I can get by with a basic set of neutral clothing pieces, but don't mess with the shoes or the purse lol. They make the look lol.
Not subbing today. Not happy that I'm working 4/5 days.
I have 6 phone calls to make. I hate phone calls. One down speaking to a friend. Enjoyed that.
One I had to leave a message, so not taken care of yet.
Onto the next one.
Then decide to decorate tree, or just enjoy it with lights.
Organize all the Christmas shopping plans with Hubby.
Clean the whole house and bake shortbread.
Laughing at myself already.
Subbed for Kindergarten and did my phone shop during recess. Sweet bunch of kids and a little girl with Down Syndrome who was oh so precious!! She had an aide and was refusing to work with her so I went and said I would give her two stickers if she finished work. To my amazement, she stopped crying and got working. I kept rewarding her with different things and she carried on.
The Asst Principal gave me a visit during specials and at first I thought I did something wrong. She said that usually subs don't know how to deal with her and she has been receiving reports that I helped her work and she has been on task for most part of the day. She asked if I wanted to join FT but I politely declined. But, it made my day!!
Weekly civic duty. Only a few months to go. It's been interesting, unbelievable, hair raising, traumatic, creepy and disturbing. Came home, cleaned a bit, shortcuts for dinner and hugged furry baby love.
I'll take a cue from Madetoshop and gladly state, "Worked my butt off!" Got a lot of work done this week. Relieved that an extension was granted on a deadline for a large project. Best news ever!

Spent a lot of uninterrupted time digging deep and understanding everything. Continuing to work through the difficult parts and prioritizing. Going to make the best use of this time.
A great day in Grade two, after sleeping from 7 pm to 5 am. I was so tired after work yesterday.
My sleep has been getting much better after exercising and working up an appetite. But if I sleep on my mattress, I'm out cold for 7-8 hours. I've been having to nap on the couch if I need to wake up early.
Very, very early release today from civic duty and I am so ever grateful. It's sunny out, not cold and my furry baby love is loving it.
School's out. We are going to Florida for Christmas. Our first time in Disneyworld!
Able to get squeezed in for some appointments to use up benefits by end of year. Good bill of health! But received that concerned look like I could have done better. I don't know how to describe that feeling. Felt like I let them down a little. But have some other benefits and credits to still use up by end of year.

Happy holidays!
DH told me he was going to make lobster tomorrow. I was scared. Found out he's going to buy them and recruited my Mom to prepare them. Relieved but what a scammer. :-)
Merry Christmas to all who celebrate. Season's greetings and best wishes to all for a peaceful and happy holiday. Eat, drink and be merry!

Young kids and sleep. Reminds me of Kindergarten when all of us kids brought in mats to nap on while the teacher got a break. My mat was a train motif.
Been up since 4:00 AM. Trying to wrap gifts. Discovered that Santa has 3 pair of slippers for my little one! oopps smiling smiley
Helping my sister prepare for the party later today. I am in my jammies and drinking coffee. This is great.
Happiest of all the December Holidays to all!
So cute @maverick1
Only one kindergarten I go to has mats and nap time. This year it's really switched to quiet time with puzzles, etc.
I am busy sending my e-cards for Christmas due to the recent Canada Post Strike. I might mail some New Years card once mail is back to normal.

A Christmas walk and a quite Christmas dinner with Hubby. We celebrated with family earlier.

Merry Merry Christmas everyone.
I think MTS = @Madetoshop !

Today is a beautiful day for a walk. Season 2 of a show I'm itching to watch premieres tomorrow on Netflix, but mustering up the willpower to hold off until the new year. I would end up binge-watching the whole season (if the whole season is released).
A beautiful day for a walk here. For about another hour before the sun dips low.
Trying to get close to a hungry stray cat. Doesn’t seem like anyone’s pet.
I work for a shipping company. My hours are 1am-8am. My sleep is all messed up.

Does anyone have exciting plans for New Years?

Hi Honny, a New Years thread was started below with some plans...exciting is subjective lol.
Boutique : yes, MTS stands for MadetoShop, it was mainly address to her, sorry for any confusion.

Okie, are you willing to share the name of the series? I am just too curious.
