Ice cream for breakfast sounds awesome!

I have two interviews this week.

Up extremely early. Walked many steps before dawn. Hope this is good for my soul...

Finally, we closed in on a great house! Our offer was accepted within a day. The seller wanted 10k more than what we offered. We accepted. It is a great house with a big yard and basement. We now have to sell our condo. Our agent says it should happen soon since he has some customers lined up. Pending inspection, things looks good.
Mum! Congratulations!

So the snow has stopped, and 'they' predict an early spring here. Critters have been on the move, so maybe 'they' are right about that.

Just completed everything difficult in in one room for this year's spring sorting. Ow. And, huzzah.

Good day for math review. So-called disqualification clause spread too thickly over all states minus (relevant parts of declaration of independence that pertain to inappropriate governance and at least one result from research that shows twenty percent of 2020 voters admit that they committed some sort of voter or election fraud in 2020) equals a timely and significant matter for scotus. Hope that scotus will determine that we the people do not have to live any longer under the tyranny of those who would dare to warp the election process such that no effective choice remains for this country and its duly qualified citizens. If nothing else, states should be encouraged and strengthened in their efforts to ensure ongoing elections that are free from loopholes and other situations that undermine the given power of we the people via elections. Can you say, i know what shop will be watching for in the news? grinning smiley

@prince. I know when I am floating between classes, I get tired so quickly. Luckily, today I had first grade.
The inspection of the new house went well. Radon testing is in progress for the basement.
@Mum Yesterday was another full day of floating. Though about 4 classes werPE. And it was Winter Walk Day, so another class of walking. The other sub said let's just not switch after the walk, We each kept the class we had. But she had no plans written for that class. Luckily, grade 3 is what I taught, I always know what to do in grade three.

Today, I had second grade, no floating, and only the morning.

Who does the Radon testing for you? Apparently, in Alberta we should have Radon monitors.

@prince. The inspection guy does the Radon testing. It takes 2 days to get the results in. Though it is not a big concern here in Illinois, even if it comes back positive it needs good ventilation. Anyways, we will be using the basement for storage only.
June's Journey is fun. Figured out that when upcoming scenes are locked pending more flowers, i can replay previous scenes. guysmom posted something about memorization on.another thread. I giggled about my silly memorization techniques for scenes i have not seen for several weeks. 'The whatchamacallit is sticking out of the thingy just in front of the thatched item...'

Yesterday we made the difficult decision to put our 21-year old cat to sleep. Today I keep expecting to see him in his regular sleeping spots.

I volunteered at the food bank this morning. At noon, I had lunch with friends.

Got some perspective on individual differences and work styles. So far, so good with this oldie but goodie book. Our protaganist just graduated from college and met the great depression a la physical limitation...

Since Valentine's Day falls on Ash Wednesday (a day of fasting for Catholics) Hubby and I went out for a combination Fat Tuesday/Valentine's Day lunch at a newly-opened Shake Shack by our house. It was the first time I had eaten there since their mystery shopping program ended.

Afterwards we went to the mall to shop and I remembered I needed some deodorant from Lush. The associate cut me off a piece that will last a couple of weeks and called it a sample, so no charge.

Should give up excessive news consumption for Lent. Today, I learned that Wal-Mart sells tiny home kits. Sears sold home kits. No real connection there, but many questions and ideas could be explored... And this is what happens when I take in too much news.

Second day of subbing for the principal. So, a mish mash of classes. And back to do it tomorrow. I will appreciate having 5 days off in a row after that.
Thursday, Friday teacher's convention. Monday is Family Day.
@prince I subbed straight 12 half days. Today, I rest. Husband coming home from Virginia after a business trip. He went on Valentine's Day and coming back tonight. He got an award from the CEO yesterday which means 4 nights in Vegas with family, all paid for.
Our condo is up for sale on Zillow. We have 3 people lined up for tomorrow afternoon and that is the time we will do our groceries.
Yesterday was a light dusting of snow. I did laundry and emptied my dryer. I am still folding clothes. I fed the cat a different food. She turned her bowl over.

@prince. No different classes. I subbed 11 days for the same school and 1 was a different one. Even for those 11 days, some days I floated while other days, it was grade 1st, 3rd, and 5th.
6th grade is becoming intolerable. I don't touch those classes even for half a day with a 6 foot pole. They are so rude and talk like adults. When I am floating, they hand me a schedule that I have no control over and then I have to go to 6th grade.
They all look and talk like 3 or 4 years more than their chronological age. There is a girl who keeps talking about her boyfriends, Ed Sheeran, about cheating, and what not. Where was I in 6th grade?
What is happening??
Traveled from Oldest Son’s to Middle Son’s house in preparation for early morning flight to Disney resort in Oahu tomorrow. They have three boys (7 and 4-year old twins). Ian glad i am just support and don’t have to do packing and organizing for them!
