I wish my husband would eat Chinese! Year and years ago, before I knew him, he contracted Hepatitis from eating Chinese food at some restaurant in NYC. From then on...nope...no Chinese food for him!@walesmaven wrote:
Aldi for a few groceries, then stops for carryout pizza and Chinese (hot and sour soup and shrimp egg rolls).
Keeping ours up for another week or so because one son & family have been sick a good bit of Dec and early January. So we're supposed to have our Christmas with them (finally) this coming Thursday for a few days. So we shall see. Then I told hubby that I *WILL* find space somewhere in the house to stow the decorations this year so that we don't have to keep carrying the totes up from the shed anymore. Getting too old for that, haha!@KathyG wrote:
Took down and stowed the Christmas decorations until next year. It always takes me a few days to get used to the empty space where the tree used to be.

Pretty much house-bound here. Very heavy rain; local roads flooded, wind gusts of 40+ MPH, schools closing early due to flooded roads. I will pay bills, tidy kitchen; prep some items for dinner, play computer games and take a nap.
