What are you doing today? (besides shopping)

Cleaned my hardwood floors, worked, harvested crops in my yard; mosquitoes got me. Had our new video doorbell installed. Subscription less and the view and features are so much better.

Spin class done.

Preparing for the first day of school tomorrow. Mine too as a sub! A half day for me at a school nearby. Trying to get everything done so we can turn in early.
Happy at home during the hot part of the day (heat is bad for me). Enjoying a really old American lit book, especially noting the language there. Would hate it if it were required reading. Required reading? Bleh. Chosen reading? Yeah! smiling smiley

When I bought a new laptop earlier in the month I tossed the old one in the corner in case I needed get any other files off of it. Today I am giving it one more look over before resetting and figuring out what to do with it.

Lots of walking, more sorting, and a few thrills for finding priceless (to me) stuff. One little treasure is a small, old notebook filled with handwritten words to live by; some are more famous than others, but all are appreciated. The person who took the time to handwrite these inspirational ideas did so long before printers and copiers. Another little treasure is a garment that is used as inspiration for weight loss. Wonder what I will find tomorrow...

Certainly appreciate people who can handle heat and humidity. Relaxing after finishing designated steps and sorting a small forest's worth of old paperwork. I mean, who keeps absolutely everything for this many years?! I kept tax stuff, gig relics, and current information. Will start shredding soon. For now, legs are elevated and I am watching the center section of a pine tree wafting in the breeze. My current view of this informative tree is through a small window. I know that is is overcast, windy, and possibly uncomfortable for patio time.

Before tonight's pizza carry out shop Hubby and I will swing by Youngest Son's house and drop off some vegetable scraps for his compost pile, stop and buy a bag of salad to accompany the pizza, walk around the area around the restaurant before shop, then head to a park for dinner.

PTO today. Picked up Mom early, shopped and had lunch. Bought her Skechers, slippers and face cream. Mom made tomato pies and sent several with DDs. They departed for a weekend at the shore with furry baby love in tow. I bought 2 fabulous belts. Weather was lovely i.e. low humidity.
Unfurling after the final day of hunching, sorting, and shredding loads of old stuff. That was the absolute last of the paperwork projects. Forever! Huzzah! Scheduled a gig for later, ordered the recommended stuff for self-managed leg care, and organized the next batch of donated items.

I ran a bunch of errands today. My ex called yesterday. I still can't figure out what he wants.

They're baaaaaaccccckkkkkk! Students are back in town. Schools will be back in session soon. Lucky them. This post-college schooling is so much better. I can read what I want to, discuss it or not, never write a paper about it, and spend as much time as I want to any aspect of any topic-- regardless of when finals are. But enough of that. We will need to organize our world around little trips to Nature in order to enjoy as much as possible before our fave places are closed for the season.

That would be @Shopperbob of course. He does what's right and comfortable for him while respecting other MSs. I love his certainty

So happy to hug and kiss my girls and furry baby love muffin today. House was too quiet without them although I had a relaxing weekend with Mom. Worked, had coffee and bagels, lunch with DH and Mom. Tried to sit poolside in the PM but way too humid.
No Spin tonight. I am sore and tired.
