What are you doing today? (besides shopping)

How did you enjoy water aerobics? I took it once and got grossed out when I was sweating in the water.

Cleaned half of my fridge this morning. I make big dishes, but don't eat the leftovers. That takes up a lot of shelf space. I never make it to Saturday Spin. I have a meeting with Tax Dude, a burger shop and some returns at BJ's.

ETA: Pepper is giving me the evil eye because I won't let her outside. I dyed my hair this morning before I forgot I was letting my grays show.

I liked it a lot! I'm trying to figure out how I can change my Monday commitments so I can do it every week.

Hubby wanted something no-fuss for dinner, so I suggested he make a cold pasta salad. I sent him several recipes to choose from, but instead of doing the work for him I acted as his sous-chef so he could take credit for the meal.

Pasta salad! My all-time fave food is a pasta salad based on my recollection of a family recipe. This is colorful, pretty, and full of veggies and protein. Above all, most ingredients can be substututed. Now I want some. !

Laundry, perfect drying day
Garden stuff. Wash floors. Does every one wash floors so often.
Walk. Tiny tasks. Legs up! Finish book between workout segments. Wait for car and vacuum repairs. Fortunately, hubby can fix the vacuum for free. Car must wait a few days.

Cooked breakfast for priests, then went to church with Hubby. Tonight we went to the wake of a friend's brother.

Uuummm, yes! My home does not feel clean unless the floors are. Ingrained from my Grandmother on down.

Poolside with delicious food and drink. Family outing to the movie theatre to see the Sound of Freedom. It was good. Mom opted to stay home with Furry Baby Love as she felt it would be too disturbing for her. It's all good.
Gotta love country music:

You were there!"

Did not get two gigs I applied for recently. Two others with ginormous bonuses are out of reach due to vehicle issues. On the sunny side of the gig street, I am ready for more assignments. All is well.

Before the schedule Deep Water aquatics class Hubby and I did some grocery shopping, including parking close to the Y and then walking to/from store. The combination of exercises had me at my step goal before noon.

Worked from home 8:30 am until 7 pm. All day laundry in between. I did not prepare dinner, everyone on their own. Mom prepared a huge melon/squash from my neighbor and fried rice. I saw an empty pizza box and a huge empty container of chocolate Haagen Dazs ice cream, LOL.
Spin class after work. Since I can't seem to make the Saturday class, my goal is 4 days during the week with Sunday as a bonus.

Today is my half birthday. Never celebrated this day before but an older friend recently introduced me to this and I decided to try it this year. So no work for me today. Have a few fun things on the schedule.
Today I will be trying to finish up my tracks for a music video from my current musical project. I play synthesizers, and I'm doing bass and other sounds in this one, with a singer/songwriter on electric guitar, and a drummer.

Have synthesizers, will travel...
For no specific reason, today was a good day!

Waiting for husband to come back from California. He went there for 2 days on business but as usual I could not sleep properly for the last 2 nights. Kept waking up every hour just to check. Back to school welcomes for substitutes is next week and they pay for attending that hour long meeting which is surprising. On Season 3 of Sweet Magnolias on Netflix and I am surprised at how quickly it turned from interesting to incredibly boring.
A bit wistful at the end of season 2 of Crime Scene Kitchen. If this season is like the previous one, there is only one more episode. Still hoping for more seasons. Finishing still more long-neglected projects that I thought would wait until Winter. So thrilled to be rid of them!

Did Trail maintenance on a Gorgeous hike today. Picked and froze raspberries and beans.

Worked, received my new fitness tracker and stared at the kitchen hoping it will clean itself.

Hating the nerdy part of myself. All I wanted was a little more information about Ralph Moody, author of Little Britches and other books. What I found was disparate information regarding the author's early life. Why would widowed mother have relocated the family from Littleton to New England via Cherrelynn Horse car in 1912? Other resources indicate that Cherelynn service ended in 1910. None of this detracts from the books, fortunately. And, the Ralph Moody Museum and Cherelynn display are only a few hours from me. Nerdy Girl is happy after all.

PLEASE let me know if that works! smiling smiley
Housecleaning and laundry weekend. Loving the entire week of music at Pilgrim Radio, where it is Classics Week and they are playing classic songs from the seventies, eighties, and nineties. Wish we could have this a few more times per year.

My internet went out yesterday. The main power box was unplugged. I want to blame the cat but I can't see how. Spin class this morning.

There is a regional pizza chain that does quarterly carry out shops. Today Hubby and I took the food to a nearby park and had a picnic-including a bag of salad and some strawberries.

Worked my butt off with a hot face and body temperature due to too much sun this past weekend. Went to Trader Joe's. Their no salt organic peanut butter is gross! Their Chili Lime Flavored Rolled Tortilla Chips are addictive..
