Late morning we took a nice walk on a rails-to-trails trail, stopped into a gas station for a cup of coffee at a promotional price, then came home and ate salad and leftover pizza. Youngest Son will come for dinner tonight.

Happy Easter to all who celebrate.
We had lovely family dinner Friday.

Still painting. Will likely finish Tuesday.
Vacuuming and dusting as dust from sanding has been tracked through the house.
I'm still in my pajamas. I made chili.

Aldi, call bank to stop payment on a check that my mortgage company never cashed, laundry, pick-up pizza next door to Aldi, start gradual shift from cold weather wardrobe to warm weather stuff.

If I can get out of bed, paint. Then to town to select flooring and get a little more paint.
Right now, coffee and TV in bed appeals.
I tried 6 times to call the passport office as I am supposed to be travelling out of the country in less than a month. I finally got through and will have to wait to make an appointment to get my passport renewed in person. So stressed about this. Also trying to do some homework assignments and sort of planning on doing some shops tomorrow.

I looked for a few shops, but was really astounded at the poor pay and high requirements for some of the shops. For example, one company wants you to pay for a background check, but they don't really pay that well.

Today the parish staff celebrated the pastor's birthday at lunch. He requested the associate priest's pizza, so instead of planning and cooking I got to be the sous-chef. The pizza is similar to pan pizza from Pizza Hut (aka loaded with fat). I took two small pieces, went back for a third, then had a slice of birthday cake. Now I don't feel so good :-)

Pre K and grade 2. Errands, house work. Try to get this library book read.
Put light switch covers back in my sewing nook, put sewing stuff back. A bit less stuff stowed away while we wait for floor.

Getting ready to leave for California. The plan was for the entire family to meet at an AirBnB for several days. Last night right before bedtime we heard that Middle Son's family had a virus going around, and the plan has changed. Air BnB is our. Tonight we will stay at a hotel. Tomorrow we will pick up our rental car and drive to Oldest Son's house for a couple of days. Hopefully Middle Son's crew will be able to come for a visit, and then be well enough for Part 2 of the trip at Great Wolf Lodge.

I'm watching my little cat sleep so peacefully on the couch. I have to disturb her.

Happy Friday everyone. Going to prep dinner and then get back to work. All I did today was work and scarf down half a bagel with cream cheese and a smoothie. 'Tis a beautiful, warm day though.
I cooked a roaster chicken. Now I have to figure out what to make with the meat.

Looking up MSCs in Europe since this is where I live now. Specifically ones that allow reports in English and/or based in countries where English is known to be spoken in addition to the native language.
Making progress in this place. My left-behind projects (turns out I was weakened and immobilized by septicemia and pressure sore on bottom of foot and spent nearly two months in hospital, along with hubby's interesting housekeeping methods, give me something to work on throughout each day. The rest of the time I read and listen to great stuff, do the various exercises, and walk. Walk! Stretch those stiff parts! Move the booty more and more! Make home a better place to be! Liberate hubby from more hausfrau-ing than he ever wanted to do! Never have I ever been so thrilled with ordinary tasks and activities. smiling smiley

Enjoying the weekend. Have a lot to do before the end of they school year. Excited for the summer. We're going on a cruise. Watching the prices on the flight and hoping for a really low fair.

Delighted to have you back!

Oh, yeah! Fine dining was delightful, delicious and so enjoyable tonight (last night?). I have to get up early for a Sunday at least and attempt to write up the report with minimal interruptions (many of them my own). #1 did 4 loads of laundry. After sowing the soil and seeding the lawn, DH ran the 1000+ yards to the golf course. I putzed around and picked/cleaned up all day.
Excellent day. High notes include weight loss, tidier place, and day of rest. I am resting from the incessant projects! There was an enlightening debate regarding woke and theology and several points of potential common ground. Good Faith Debates presents these debates. There is a different topic each week to hear and consider. Tomorrow there is Holocaust Remembrance. That event is something to watch or at least think about, eh? Hopefully everyone is enjoying this day. smiling smiley

Today was grocery shopping. I went to this specific store for the wine. I get to checkout and no ID. No ID, no wine. The trip wasn't wasted since I actually bought food.

Early, gentle workout. Reading a little portion of several books. Later: appointment for legs, walking, and a different set of exercises. Waiting for warmer temperatures so I can do some exercises on the patio. Just a few minutes in the warming but not hot sunshine is always a pleasure!

Allergy season in full effect. My little cat is giving me the evil eye because I sneezed.

Early workout felt good. Later: errands. It will be windy and cold, but it will be great to see my little town again.

Submitted all tax returns yesterday; ours and others. Nice little $$$$ windfall for me! I will par-tay in June when I am hopefully relieved of all current, pressing work endeavors.
