I used a laser pointer to entertain Pepper. She worked herself into a frenzy. Poor thing was panting.

Orchid show at the botanical garden, a decadent lunch out, and a mediocre dinner (which was by plan, knowing that we were going to finish the meal with chocolate covered strawberries and Crumbl cookies).

Injured both hands, probably in earliest January. This explains so much of other aspects of mobility and life. They are completely numb much of the time. They are scolding me now because their braces are not enough. I offloaded what I could from their "schedule" and will try alternate hot and cold treatments. In better news, I can also "practice piano" with the hand prep exercises I did to strengthen my hands before ever playing a note. Glad I remembered that!

I just figured out how to make a flow chart in Word and then add it to a PowerPoint deck I'm putting together for a volunteer project.

We split a field greens salad. I had Tuscan meatloaf, which was stacked on a pile of smashed potatoes and sauteed spinach. Hubby had polenta with sauteed spinach and three (or four?) types of sauteed mushrooms.

I'm listening to IMO, best love song...'Maybe I'm Amazed' (from 'Rockshow') - Paul McCartney And Wings

Today? Uh-oh. I heard noise when I pressed on our truck brakes. Brakes work fine. The noise comes and goes. Upon inspection, the Front Driver Side Brake Shield (a piece of sheet metal) I believe is cracked. So I guess, at over 305,000 miles, it's wise to buy both left AND right via Amazon. I'll replace them in a few days.
On a side note...have you seen that FORD is stopping production of the Electric Truck "Lightning" because of battery fire?
Are you going to buy an EV as your next vehicle?
Not me. As a Manufacturing Engineer / Quality Program Manager by training, I don't believe enough of the issues have been resolved to ensure reliability.
