I was hoping it was in my car as well. Even had a stranger outside of Dollar Tree call my number while I searched my car and trunk, but it wasn't there. At least I found it later at Aldi.@HonnyBrown wrote:
I lost my phone somewhere between a shop and home. Luckily, it was in my car.
Hey SEA, yeah, I sure will. I don't do a lot of merch'ing. In the past, I have usually worn (and will continue to wear) smock-type tops with big pockets when merch'ing. That way, I have kept/will keep my phone in one of the pockets. That usually works fine. I wasn't wearing such a top last Friday, and so had my phone in my jacket pocket, which is what I usually do when out grocery shopping.....no more though! Lanyard came today and I'm all set!@Shop-et-al wrote:

I had a brain flash regarding merchandising. You are a merchandiser. Obviously, the phone lanyard will make you hands-free. Will you please let us know if this makes some gigs easier? tia.

Thanks, guysmom!
Just re-read KathyG and prince. I wonder if the group of six would eat moose stroganoff... They wold eat everything else!
So @SEA, I did a quick 45 min merch gig today at Christmas Tree Shop. I kept my phone on my lanyard, and it worked out OK just hanging down. My phone, plus the wallet-type case it's in, plus the junk in my case, cause the lanyard to add more hanging weight than I expected. The lanyard isn't too cumbersome hanging around my neck, but it does add a bit of weight.....which is why smock-type tops work great for merch'ing, so I can just keep my phone in the large pockets. Where the lanyard will come in handy is when I'm out shopping, and I want to keep my phone in my outside jacket pocket. With the lanyard being adjustable, I can keep it long enough so that it stays in my jacket pocket without hanging down as dead weight, and doesn't add any weight to my neck area. HTH.@Shop-et-al wrote:

While you walk in 30°weather, @KathyG I will decide whether to walk at -30 ° C Windchill bringing it colder than -40.
It will be a short walk to the compost and bird feeder, maybe check my little trail in the bush.
