Lining up shops for my off days. Enjoying the hek out of this V-8 bloody mary!

Early job. Will probably finish the book today. Continue with little house tasks and the seemingly endless projects, knowing that a little at a time adds up and eventually (presumably in this century!?) everything will be completed.

Costco to straighten out a membership glitch; grocery store; finish a bank report; grab several June bank shops with fees that are 2.5 times what they were in March. (Yes, some clients have been known to learn from their mistake, lol.)

Based in MD, near DC
Shopping from the Carolinas to New York
Have video cam; will travel

Poor customer service? Don't get mad; get video.

Oh my goodness, SEA!! So glad your husband was able to get all that straightened out! That can be so frightening and unnerving!
Shopping for Hubby's birthday dinner tomorrow. He requested BLT's, cole slaw, and fruit salad. Sounds easy!

I bought a small snake plant and some flower pots from Home Depot. I put the newly potted plant in a dim corner of my living room.

Early job was so early, we finished work and arrived back at home twenty minutes before the deadline. This is how it is supposed to be every day. Love this!

If I could count on this time frame, I could schedule more gigs. Or complete more of the seemingly endless projects sooner. Or read more books!

Walked immediately after breakfast to beat the heat. Lunch out with Hubby, then home to watch the Cardinals play. Dinner, then ????

This incident was more irritating than anything, It ties up money that hubby should have paid to me days ago. for his portion of expenses. Now, that payment is delayed. I have cut back hours at work and could use the money now. Hmmph. But these little trains of thought and trajectories mean nothing to people who have nothing better to do than victimize someone. They do not care!

I volunteered at the food bank this morning.

It's been going on for more than a year? Do you think it was his internet mistress?

I do not know who did that. For at least a few weeks, there was another one. Similar story, more messes. Even when accounts, etc. are changed, odd things happen. Recently, hubby made more changes. Then, this happened. Why? Who knows. Any missing links remain elusive. There are a few outre ideas, though.

If I were suspicious, I might suppose that someone listens to our conversations, adds two and two, and gets gibberish. A clever eavesdropper/fake buyer might put this together based upon listening at various times: at some unnamed time in the future, I would like to have better hi-fi equipment. [I am old school.] The fake buyer heard a discussion of how much money hubby would receive and apply for various uses, and used hubby's card just before hubby could access a direct deposit. The fake buyer ordered hi-fi equipment that should be picked up [by them and at hubby's expense?] in another state. As for additional hi-fi in our place: I said it, I meant it, and I also said that we could do this when we could afford to do it. There is no known or anticipated time when we can afford to add more for me. Perhaps eavesdroppers/fake buyers missed that part of the discussion and should have factored that into their little plan.

There could be other explanations.

As for his long-time girlfriend, she promises endlessly that she will give generously of her alleged millions. No money ever arrives that is enough to repay us for all our trouble. (Mind you, he never tells her what a hassle it is for me and how much money I have lost because he has given her his earnings, sold his most valuable belongings in order to get more money for her, and is leaning on me to pay for his expenses-- even his job expenses that his paychecks should cover!). Several times each month, she begs for more money and claims that if he gives her x amount of money today , she will give him many times more than that soon. Soon never comes. Asking her what happened to the money from this, that, or the other alleged source of promised money yields nothing. Again. Soon never comes. But begging and silly deals always come around.... It is quite mad. If I were a clever sort, I would toss it, roll it, decorate it, spit on it, mark it with B for bwahaha, and sell a madcap screenplay. Or something.

This is not a plea for money from the forum. ! I still have a few resources and hope springeth eternal. It is just me, whinging and endlessly irritated because someone, somewhere, is so good at scamming from hubby and equally good at throwing me under the bus. I do not like this. It needs to end. It never should have started. Hmmph.

@HonnyBronw: Yeah. But in better and different, news.....

1. I have a sinus infection. I had to skip the night job because I could not sit up and hold my eyes open for more than a few minutes at a time before flopping on my bed. This too shall pass. !!!!!
2. Hubby was downright angelic today. He completed all the tasks he said he would do and then did more. More! This is a good thing.

This has been going on for over a year. It's someone's happy place.

Making phone calls for an apartment shop in between a trip to the gym, errands, and miscellaneous cooking.

Thanks to the eCommerce shops, 4 in total, I did not need to go to Aldi's. Ironically, I did not land an Aldi's shop.

My fully reimbursed hauls: paper towels, produce, B/S chicken thighs, ground chicken and snack raisins.

Had a little more energy and used it well. In between sessions of flopping, reading, and inching Holmes and Watson through their 'Silver Earring' game, I did my basic workout and made a little trip for or groceries and miscellaneous errands. I hope to spend more time at home tomorrow and complete... something!

Free day at home, it seems. No one called so I didn't have to say "I am not available.". So hard to say that to a teacher at 6:00am no matter how much I want to stay home.

Going to have lunch with my BFF in about an hour. We do this once a month and spend about 2-3 hours gabbing and catching up on stuff.

@guysmom Lucky you! Any friends I make, generally move out of state!! Maybe they are all allergic to me. Just chilling with Killer Mysteries on Amazon Prime. Watching horrendous crimes in my free time is my new pastime.
I got my brows threaded today. After was a grocery shop. I looked at the email for the eCommerce shops and saw that some were still available. I landed 3 for the next 3 days.

Chiropractor appointment, redeemed two promotional deals that were ready to expire (and saved $12 on things I was going to buy anyway), Goodwill Warehouse store (where, among other things, I bought a dress that will make a great swimsuit coverup for pennies), Aldi run.
