Took the bus to Aldi's and did a lot of shopping>> fun, fun, fun!! Went for a walk and am enjoying the sunshine. I am not enjoying the numerous stupid comments about the Superbowl. LOL I may plant some geranium seeds later. 
What type did you get? That's one of the projects on my to-do list

Busy with unanticipated online shops this morning. Now it's started snowing, and depending on how fast it comes down and how much it sticks I will either stay home and break my streak of 10,000+ step days or go to the mall and walk a couple of laps.

Nothing. Everything is work. Well, there is one thing. The dishwasher has yet another issue. Perhaps someone can figure out how to solve that.

I made a batch of pinto beans in the Instant Pot. Put them on the deck to cool, then into containers in the freezer for down the line. Have a FaceTime call at noon to discuss a volunteer project with a friend. Will have to figure out how to get in the days steps since the mid-20s high temp won't do anything to melt the slight layer of icy snow that fell last night.

OK, so after living in our home for 30 years....THIRTY YEARS, mind you....it suddenly occurred to me about 3 months ago that our two showers have NO emergency shut off valves...none. So if, for some reason, we could not shut the water off in the showers, we'd have to shut off the water to the entire house at the outside emergency shut off!! So.....we're using some of our stimulus money to get that taken care of...today!! GET THIS: Our plumber said that in 90% of all homes that he's seen, there are NO emergency shut offs to the showers!! Can you imagine!! Anyhow, while he's here, I'm also having him replace two sink fixtures and take care of a small repair to the tub in the master bathroom.
Also using some of our stimulus money to get the rear bumper on our 2003 Crown Vic fixed up...it's got cracks along several areas. Our body shop friend said he can fix it all up and paint it and it will look like new!

Paying bills;tracking possible delivery date for chair lift; laundry; taking non-driving neighbor to grocery store; getting fuel into vehicle before going anywhere !!! Salting front stoop and sidewalk before sleet arrives to ice every surface.

Trying to figure out a couple of computer issues. Why, when I reopen my browser (Firefox) it doesn't continue the session and reopen all my tabs, even though I have that option checked. And why my 1Password makes me start from scratch each time browser is opened, including entering the 'secret key' that's about 30 characters long.

I have an appointment for my first covid-19 vaccine tomorrow. I will get my appointment for my second shot tomorrow too.
Early job will be late. Any extra work there will be extremely late. Eventually, or perhaps tomorrow if work is so late that it ends at nap time or bedtime haha, I will pick up a few things (not a shop) for one massive project and work on that project. But the good news is I got to sleep late. Up at 1 AM is late!

@walesmaven I have never had Canadian coins accepted at par!! I've heard of it, only.
Online Teacher's convention, which I have an option of attending. I may take a look at the sessions.

Back in the early-mid 1970s the US and Canadian currencies were MUCH closer in value. Canadian locations close to Michigan also traded coins at par, but coin operated vending machines still required local coins.

This area was scheduled for a bad snowstorm. I checked hourly weather and saw that there would be a break in the snow 3am-5am. I leave for work at 5am. This morning, I left at 4:30 to beat the snow. The commute home was normal.

I had my first covid-19 vaccine. It did not hurt, however I suggest having it in the left arm if you are right handed. It hurts a lot more than a flu shot! Not looking forward to the next one. I am glad the first did not make me ill. Good luck with yours.
