What are you doing today? (besides shopping)

Yes, absolutely.

Christmas week, I was in a center lane that became a left lane. Dude tried to get past the merged traffic and bumped my car. I'm more annoyed than anything.

Bliss! Early job was truly early! Nap, workout, little tasks, and color. Coloring is relaxing! grinning smiley

Ho, ho. So did I.

Based in MD, near DC
Shopping from the Carolinas to New York
Have video cam; will travel

Poor customer service? Don't get mad; get video.
Bunch of errands, with shops along the way to subsidize my mileage.

After a car wash mystery shop and a sporting goods merchandising audit I will be working on finishing up online exhibits for a Google project involving a non-profit I work for.

Have synthesizers, will travel...
Yearly mammogram and other miscellaneous.

The electric company called yesterday to come out and do a follow up audit from a few years ago. I need to review the docs they left, but I think it will be beneficial.

Yay for the the weekend! It's been a long week. This weekend my little one will spend the weekend with her dad, so I'll be free. One shop to do... Maybe finish unpacking the last box in the living room, some cleaning, and hopefully a little time to relax.
After I check out from the hotel, going to a chili cookoff at a local Harley dealer & then my mother in law is making homemade manicotti to celebrate a few birthdays in the family.

Work, look at window casings, try a new-to-me workout, & clean out the car. If it has not snowed when I am near the car wash, I will wash the car.

Stripped all the beds. Did marathon laundry. Watched you tube knitting tutorials in between. Spinscrubbed the kitchen floor. Took a 1 hour nap. Went out to dinner at the Capital Grille with my family + 2 beaus. Scrumptious and feeling blessed.

I ordered food from Aldi through Instacart for my mom at nursing home. It was fun and I love the website. It is so easy to find things. I tipped the driver $2. Someone bought my mom a new frig for her room, but the food there is horrible. I got her cut watermelon, cut cantaloupe, marble rye bread, sliced sharp cheddar and sliced honey ham. smiling smiley
Late version of early job ate up time needed for useful, productive, hausfrau-ing. So, I went directly to workout, quiet time, and errands before more work,.

Well, so far my experience with Instacart is excellent. They sent me several text messages through the process. I am delighted. Now I want to hear from my mom and see what she says about the food. smiling smiley
Stripped the bed, washed sheets, and remade it. Zoom call with family in California. It was exciting to see all three grandsons wearing St. Louis Cardinal (baseball) shirts :-)

Will record the Green Bay Packer game and start viewing from the beginning after about 30 minutes of "game time." That way I can watch the entire game, less commercials and half-time and be pretty much "on time" for the ending.

Just got a text from Youngest Son asking if we wanted to stop by the house he bought for a tour before he moves in. (His cleaning standards are a little looser than mine, and when he says "this will be the last time it won't be completely trashed" I know to drop everything and go :-)

More laundry. Helped DD#3 with her V-Day present presentations for 3 of her brunch babes. Started knitting an infinity scarf using mohair. It is most unforgiving if you make a mistake or drop a stitch. Ripping it out results in a knot. I regret purchasing mohair but it is a beautiful yarn. DDs made braised tofu, brown rice and a garden salad for dinner. Soooo good. That's about it.
Filled in the early February IC schedule, which frees up a day for me later this week. Work all day. Anticipate the next five days of "project devotion" in which I do nothing but eat, sleep, work out, and finish projects. I already selected some of the music and other things I want to listen to while I do that work. It will be good.

I wasn't going to leave the house today, but a phone shop cancellation gave me a completely empty day. Picked up two easy shops,. Came home and just finished reports. Now it's 2 pm, and I still have the rest of the day free.

Washed 2 loads of laundry, and dusted....ugh, I hate dusting!!! Two hours of my life that I can't re-claim!! And to think that it all comes back!!
hah. It really does take only ten minutes to complete a particular report on the phone. I had to test this today so that I can plan future days around more of these gigs. The real update is that I got real Vera Wang at thrift (not a shop). I was looking for work jackets, veered off to tops to wear under work jackets, and there it was: gorgeous, ready for somethin', and practically winking at me. 'Hey, hey, baby.' Or not. I probably should not have been able to find that garment. I think those types of items are supposed to be routed through the website, or something. So lucky me, sleepy me (not much of a nap because I am staying awake for laundry), and laser-focused me (next five days & projects).

guysmom too funny as I feel the same way.

I took the bus to a nearby town, walked 2.5 miles and shopped.
There. One project is underway, another is pending the end of hubby nap, and the third is starting in a few hours. For a few hours, at least, I am on track. (FlyLady would be proud of me.)
