What are you doing today? (besides shopping)

Finishing up the big dining room clean-out, clean powder room, trip to Aldi for staples, one quick shop. Drafting more Ebay listings and taking pictures for them.

Work (late, as usual). Download the 'Game Gievaway of the Day'. I do not have a social media account in which to spread the word of these freebies, but I can tell you here that I have enjoyed the games that I get for free. They are: cute, relaxing, amusing, odd, puzzling, downright strange, and/or otherwise good fun for when the back needs to be in this chair and any other time. I do not download all the games. I choose the mild little things that do not have shooters, snipers, weapons, etc. YMMV.

*eta* hmmph. the game did not load. Oh, well...

Later, there are a few errands and one weeny shop before nap and the night job.

After breakfast we put the bikes on the carrier and drove to Jefferson Barracks park, which was an active Army installation from the early 1800s through the mid 1900s. Realized that we will need more than a day to explore all the historical things there, but ended up riding on a couple of greenways. This afternoon a cold front came through, bringing some much-needed rain.

Good luck. I've been putting off doing more listings. I try to keep 100 up at all times. I finally sold more stuff, so I'm under 100 today. I just started my Christmas listings last week. I got rid of everything Halloween, finally!
Dug the last of the carrots out from under the snow.
Scrubbed them, blanched some, roasted some. Done.

Sleep late, do a little work, take a little nap, do a little more work, and do a little workout before bed.

I buy my socks by the ton. My last order was maybe 6 months ago. There are 2 full pairs and several singles in my sock drawer.

Where are my socks!

Work. Errands. Projects.
Listen to something wonderful. Yesterday, I chose Arrau, Horowitz, and Perlman. Today, I will choose... hmm... someone else wonderful! smiling smiley

So the missing packages have been found, and all is well. One of today's projects is to unpack them.

Routine, but long, eye doctor visit. Prepping more Ebay listings. This includes: determining postal weight, estimating shipping container size, drafting text and taking and editing well-lit pictures. I have already researched potential selling/listing prices for what I have on hand. Tomorrow I will make time for a visit to the Goodwill store that has tons of nice stuff.

Honeybrown, socks disappear in the dryer and return as Tupperware lids that fit nothing.
I am mending socks while I watch Heartbeat. Though I got 2 new pairs of nice merino wool ones for my reimbursement today.

prince, oy, oy,oy ! Now I know where the plastic lids that fit no dish that I have ever owned have come from. Honny, as an engineer, I hope you will be able to reverse engineer these lids into sox.

UPS is replacing my broken television, but not telling me what to do with the old one. I have the broken one ready to go back to the store. UPS was supposed to deliver the new TV last not, but never showed.

Got dinner ready to go into the oven in between phone calls to apartment community. The paperwork says I'm supposed to be shopping Angie, but on my third try Angel answered and I wondered if they might have mis-typed the name, Sent a message to MSC, walked up to the grocery store for some cheddar cheese, and now I think it's time for a nap.

There was time. I got holiday cards for hubby's customers, ingredients for upcoming huge cooking project, and road trip food for upcoming long merch day. Such a deal. Everything was a good brand and a good price.

Returning teacher's keys that I took home accidentaly. Out in the country so, meandered around random country roads and bought chocolate pudding mix in tiny village.
Now, Hubby's Bday cake is baking. Watching Heartland and enjoying fire.
Now to clean, organize and declutter the whole house.

Targets give an alternative name so they can identify the shopper.

Amazon has a memory foam mattress, queen, for $209. These are Aldi's prices!

Work. Nap. Sort something, clean something, and do some sort of workout.

I verified today that there actually IS an Angie and an Angel that work in the office. What are the chances of that? Now I just have to track down Angie, who is being pretty elusive. The shop is paying $70, and I don't have a whole lot else going on.

The plan was to go to CVS after work to eat up some time before the start of my 4:15 shop. There were no parking spaces. I go home after the shop and forgot to stop by the neighborhood CVS. I am ordering the LG TV today. Hopefully, I can pick it up tomorrow before I get my flu shot. I gave my shop sandwich meal to a homeless dude at the farmers' market.

Was called at 7 to sub today in Kindergarten. Have to leave at 7:15! A bit late and a busy day. I am too old for Kindergarten. But fun!
Drove past two early voting sites with perhaps a hundred people in line each--too many without masks and too many not observing social distancing. Third site had no line and everyone was wearing masks and keeping proper social distance. Windows open and ceiling fans running to keep air moving. We got our votes in.

Big Lots! is running a coupon for 15% off one total purchase for loyalty club folks. A Raise.com gift card for Big Lots! was 27% off a few weeks ago and 5% more off by purchase with Paypal using a card offering 5% off Paypal purchases. It was time to reload paper goods, cleaning supplies, shampoos & toiletries and select food stuffs to be ready for the growing next wave of COVID. Tiresome as it is, our hospital system has about double the COVID cases it had two weeks ago and the snowbirds are arriving en masse as the snows begin up north. Our Governor is pretending that nothing is going on and local businesses are trying to get mask restrictions dumped by the wayside so that winter visitors feel safe in an environment that is anything but that.
Today's high temperature of 85 was one degree short of the record. After morning errands and lunch I took the bike out for a ride. I came home drenched in sweat, but it will be a nice feeling to remember on Monday when the high is only going to be 45.

Going to be -15°C tonight. Someone dumped a kitty off here, about 8ishmonths. sad smiley
Gave it food, water and a blanket in a little house. Neighbour is posting to see if someone claims it, but we live too far out, someone discarded it.
