What are you doing today? (besides shopping)

Looking at blinds for the living room. And French Doors in dining room.Yikes, maybe just the main living room window will get a new "Treatment"
A few other errands, then clean and organize the whole house and make peach pie for Hubby and crustless pumpkin pie for me.

I redeemed points for doing surveys and got a $50.00 Amazon gift card. It's a good thing cuz my bike lock broke and I had to have someone cut it off. Now I have to buy a new lock... smiling smiley
That's an overwhelming task!

Yes, window treatments can be very expensive! Plus, the options seem endless.

We can do without until spring. So, we will see. Came home and made our own lunch to save $. LOL
Then Hubby flooded the basement. So, most of the basement now has clean floors! And I now realize I was meant to buy that huge mop and bucket at the garage sale last week. LOL

It is Sunday. Therefore, the early job will be so late it is laughable. Or scowl-worthy. This lateness annoys customers and eats up nap time that I need before the late job. Hmmph.

Meanwhile, I was looking up Sunday songs. Beautiful Sunday comes to mind... 'hey, hey, hey, it's a beautiful day!'...

Lovelovelove this oldie!

After my shops, I'm going to Aldi's for weekly shopping and to see what fun stuff I can pick up. I definitely have my eye on a mini cast iron fry pan to replace the rusty one that I have. After that is laundry and more cleaning out the closet.

My little one is with her dad, so I can unpack some more boxes and open my new weed wacker. I'll take my dogs on a good long walk. There's some laundry to do and I need to clean off my desk. Hopefully, I have time for a good Lifetime Movie today, tooyawning smiley)
Working up a WORD table of October incoming inventory for potential Ebay items. Looking up locations of thrift stores along my Shenandoah Valley buying/leaf looking tour of later this week.
Edited because I will be traveling to look at leaves, not leaks.

I'm scaling back the mystery shopping. I am going to focus on shops that pay over $10. I want to pay off my credit card before my student loan kicks in.

@Shopper797 Lifetime movies are good while I clean my office

@HonnyBrown - I have scaled back MS because I can't find shops. Since I can only find the odd one, I am only doing the ones exactly on my route to work, etc. And since my new phone went for a swim with me, no camera on it sad smiley
Luckily, the one I did this week after work paid $30

Happy Thanksgiving to Canadians.
I am roasting my small turkey today, just for Hubby and me. Some of the trimmings. But didn't buy anything special except cranberries and yam since they were on sale.
Tried all summer to buy cranberries and they couldn't be found, so I bought 3 bags.

And while it is roasting, I will clean, organize, and unclutter the whole house. lol

prince, fresh cranberries are often only available after early autumn harvest.

Honny, check out the bank shops Bare; many over $30 with simple reports. (For the secret sauce that makes those reports simple, PM me, lol.)

Play online, cuppa nearby. Only do the workout and necessary tasks because I need a much longer nap than I had yesterday. I did a huge amount of work yesterday instead of napping which makes it less bad not to do so much today. But the good news is this: I have started on a survey that people usually like to complete. No need to persuade them! This makes the shift seem to fly! Meanwhile, I am trying to fund expensive shoes that are good for my feet. So far, I got a pair of Vionic flats at thrift price. These shoes appear unworn, and they are perfect for the night job. I am still looking for something less obviously a workout shoe that I can wear to merch gigs. The clunkers I have been wearing practically scream, "Nyah! This broad has the worst Cinderella stepsister feet in the history of forever! Nyah!" And the sad thing is, I am neither Cinderella nor her evil stepsisters. I just have the feet, ya' know?

Carefully washing, staging and photographing some of the items bought at Goodwill. Drafting some Ebay listings to make active about when I return from a short trip (Friday). About to read instructions, assemble, and test my new postal scale. It is supposed to be "accurate up to 50 lb," but no chance I am lifting anything that heavy, lol. If/when I get the scale figured out I will test weigh and measure a couple of items to help set buyer expectations of shipping costs. Ebay provides a handy tool, but I need to know weight plus likely container type and dimensions.

I'm preparing for Prime Day, both personally and professionally. Personally because I have my wish list that has to find its way to my cart; and professionally because work will be crazy busy.

Volunteered to make dinner at Son's house, so had fun rummaging through his freezer/refrigerator/pantry for ingredients. It turned out to be tuna tacos with beans, rice, guac, and slaw on the side.

I have seen every LMN movie!

The only reimbursement shops I plan to do are the overpriced burgers. I will be doing banks and cell phone shops.

Honny,
Storage facility shops also pay $22 and up and have easy reports. Reimburse gas shops can also help reduce your debt load.

Slept until 6 AM. This feels downright slothful! And goooooooooodddddddd...... grinning smiley

For fun, I have short stories and a new-to-me workout. For accomplishment, I have set a goal of completing three projects. That is enough.

Making a Covid-inspired packing list for my 3 day -2 night road trip. I have accommodations with kitchen and will take some supplies in a cooler, of course. Then, extra masks and disposable gloves, of course. Daytime highs in the 70s, but very chilly nights indicate that warm sox may be needed, for the first time since late March, lol. Charging the Nook to take along for reading.

Meanwhile, pedicure and grocery run today. Also, more prepping inventory for Ebay so that I can make several listings happen on Friday just by pushing a button.

A student where I subbed tested positive for Covid, so I am required to isolate. Have a test booked for tomorrow. On hold to Alberta health right now to find out what all I am supposed to do. (Call the other schools?, etc.)
Thanks. Not too worried as the exposure was on the 2nd, and I am not sick.. I am careful, students wore masks and kept their distance.

Just didn't get this info until last evening, so have been here and there and not sure if I am supposed to tell everyone.
wales, since I am cutting up my shopping credit card, it doesn't benefit me to do the $3 reimbursement shops and have the funds taken from my checking account. The burger shop (that I will continue) total payment will go toward the loan and I will do enough cash shops to pay my loan each month.

prince, that's good to hear. How and why did the student enter the school? You should get hazard pay.

"I told myself to quit you; but I don't listen to drunks." -Chris Stapleton
They had no symptoms and did not know they were exposed. Just like I did not know I was exposed and have been to two other schools among other places.

They got tested on the 6th because someone they had contact with had Covid.

I had to turn down work today. It would be nice to get paid for that.

My husband and I voted, thanks to early voting in our State! Lines were long, but we came prepared for the long haul. After, we had lunch outside, on the patio of a favorite restaurant, chosen due to % off with one of our credit cards.
