Work. Nap. Clean out cars and get them ready for all supplies for all jobs. Looking forward to a fun day. Technically, it involves work. But that is so easy that it is negligible. The important part of the day is the trip in early Autumn (and the possibility of a relatively smoke-free hike in the season's colors).

There's a gym getting ready to open up close to us that is offering classes in the park. For the first time since March I did a little bit of strength work and a little yoga. It felt SO good!

I opened an email from my county library system today. They offer several services despite the fact that they are physically closed: printing with contactless pick up and parking lot wifi come to mind.

We are driving to Dallas next week to finally meet granddaughter, who was born on May 20th. As part of the deal we have been asked to start limiting our exposure to others as much as possible. I have been running errands safely, but will gladly cut back after my trip to Costco today. Guess I'll swing around to the Little Lending Library and see if there are any good books.

Cooking up and freezing a lot of bacon. Steaming batches of carrots and of broccoli to have veggies for upcoming entrees over the next week. Buying the first subsidized fuel since March 12. (But also using 40 cents off per gallon fro, a rewards program.) I will leave enough room in the tank to add about 4 gallons that will be reimbursed for a later October shop. That will provide a full tank when I depart mid-month for a 3 day leaf-peeping trip through the Shenandoah Valley. I will also try out the new postal scale that arrived last night. This is for better estimating postage coasts as I sell a whole bunch of stuff on Ebay. Gotta have a good estimate of shipping costs if offering free shipping, which seems to be what most buyers specify in their searchs.

Late work (again. is this the new normal?!) Nature called hubby in the middle of extra work, so I am taking a minute online. Then, there is a flu shot followed by more extra work. Mercifully, there is a gap for a nap before... wait for it... still more work.

Yup, been there, done that. Had to limit exposure, not eat out, get tested, wear mask (before mandated in the stores) when shopping, and THEN...take a shower when I got to my son's home BEFORE I could hug anybody! You do what you gotta do!!!@KathyG wrote:

I cleaned and cleaned, then cleaned some more. Somehow, the house is never clean. And just when you are finished with online classes, homework, and cooking...there it is..a blob of glitter glue staring right at you! Some more tea stains and tea cup rings and before you know it, pile high laundry to be folded and a mountain of dishes...Nice!
Work. Drive half the the day to more work because some roads are closed due to wildfires. Drive half the day to get back back home again. Rejoice at the silver lining: it was not possible to schedule more shops as anticipated, and it might be possible to pick up something that has a shorter report form on the fly along the longer drive. Lament the time required between today's fires and eventual regrowth of the foliage. (Silly human here likes to see nature in full splendor and sometimes forgets what it takes to accomplish all that grand, tourist-attractant, photogenic, display... )

I cannot say enough good things about ubreakifix in College Park MD! If all of their locations are as good (as well as economical) we should all buy stock ! And, since they do not sell equipment, there is no pressure to "trade up" rather than repair.

I have a could of items that were on yesterday's list that had to be brought forward to today. Slept later this morning and having a nice long "dawdle" over coffee before I ease into this day. Later I will reinstall a few apps that, of course, got wiped out when the phone died, and then make a trip to the bank ATM. And, after yesterday's kitchen chores, a major kitchen clean-up is in order.

A member of my church passed away suddenly and her funeral was today via Zoom. I attended and it was very bizarre to me. While church officiants were present, they did not present anything. It was blank space for 30 minutes. I was waiting for the service to start. The participants chatted for the next half hour about how nice she was, and then the chat ended abruptly.

Schools are open here in Alberta. Grade 4 and up wear masks. They can remove them while seated at their desks. I can remove my mask when instructing while everyone is seated. They go out for recess and stay with their class in one area. Everyone does not have recess at the same time. The music teacher, the librarian, come to the classroom. Etc. Lots of sanitizing. Basically, if someone gets sick, there will be some limit to how many others with whom they've been in contact.
Also, high school students only take 2 courses so they will complete them quicker. Could be done 2 courses if everything shuts down.
Families could choose to send kids to school, or continue on line. And they can make that choice each quarter. Each class I've been to had about4 students still learning at home. Helps with spacing.

This is the Nature break during the early job. The fun day did not materialize yesterday, but whaddya' do. Today, there is just enough time to clean one thing before a nap and the late job.
Skipping the nap and watching 'Murder, She Wrote' and setting up my merch kits. Lovelovelove the clothes and hair from those years! I remember how costly that frequently colored, cut, and permed hair was, and I appreciate how inexpensive my long hair is now!

Since I have to go to Aldi, and my pizza place is next door, I will take advantage of great sale on carry out pizza and freeze meal size portions. Will also finish up research on the ballot questions for my state and county and double check who I want to vote for on the school board. Two of us will drop off our ballots on Wednesday; one will vote early and in-person. ymmv

@prince. Same with IL. We have the choice to continue online or in person. Not many students are going to school though. We are continuing online as well. A video shared by the Head of the Distt. showed students wearing masks and sitting far apart from each other. Praying everyone will be okay.
Today was busy and time constrained. All my morning stuff was due by noon, so I had to get the chicken puttanesca in the crock pot before I left out at 10:30. I get to the end of the street and realized I forgot my grocery returns. U-turn (great movie). Two shops then 10 minutes until noon appointment. I wait in my car until checking email and sending texts. The noon appointment takes 4.5 hours (hair color and style). I got back home with 5 minutes to spare before my 5pm call with Parents. After that, I went to Aldi's and got everything on my list as well as some fun stuff. I am headed to bed in a few due to a new work schedule.

No early job but plenty of IC work and late job For this week, the sleep will be non-existent but the money will be good. Hubby has agreed to drive so that I can sit in the back seat and sort boxes and bins of @#%%^ between gigs. Gigs, money, and completed projects, all in the same week? Hmmm.....I could like this.

This morning my car is having its thermostat replaced. It's been sticking for over a week...staying down right near the "C"... it's not an issue in the summer, but pretty soon I'm going to need heat in my car! So that's getting taken care of this morning before I go do 2 shops later this afternoon.
Turned in my Census phone and extra forms I’ve been carrying around in the trunk. Picked up a baptism present for Granddaughter and Birthday card for Oldest Grandson. Walked birthday card to the post office. Giving my feet some well-earned pampering.
