I finally got my mani-pedi. I was impressed with the measures the salon took to keep their employees and customers safe, except when it came time to pay.
There were plexiglass shields set up as barriers between the customer and employee at each station. The pedicure lounges were not six feet apart, but customers were spaced out. All employees and customers were wearing masks.
When I got my manicure, I was not directed to wash my hands. The hand wash station was not contact free.
When it came time for me to pay for my services, I let him know I was using Samsung Pay. I couldn't reach over the counter due to a floor display. I couldn't give him my phone because the app needed my thumbprint. He couldn't hand me the terminal because it was screwed to the counter. The only option was for me to go to the terminal, and it was in a tight space.
My hands and feet are soft, and my brows are tamed...well worth it!
