What are you doing today? (besides shopping)

I bought a phone sanatizer for a Christmas gift last year. I wasn't told if it worked or not. Actually I wasn't thanked. Wish I had kept it, if I had known the pandimic was coming I would have :-)

Mine works. I've been playing with it all morning. Ordered it on Amazon and it was delivered about 9PM last night. I'm at work sanitizing one thing after another. It takes about 5 minutes. I've done my ipad, iphone, sunglasses, credit cards and keys so far.

Well, thanks to Flash's suggestion, I used Firefox and easily downloaded and install OpenOffice. It provides a ton of available support, should that be wanted or needed.

Flash, many thanks for the final reminder !

After work is a wine run and then home. I slept through my exercise time this morning. I hope to get it done this evening.

Fantastic! Hate to feel a fellow shopper is being 'ripped off'
I am truly amazed at what Amazon sells; not as my employer, but as a consumer.

I get allergy related styes a few times a year and they get worse every year. The recommendations that my MD gives me don't help (lash wipes and warm compresses). I searched online for treatments.

The first result came from Amazon: a heated eye mask. Brilliant! The reviews related to this condition veered on the positive side. I couldn't buy it fast enough.

I find lots of interesting things at Amazon. Sounds like you hit the jack pot. Good for you.
And, I am buying a lot of Kirkland branded items without buying a new Costco membership.

Cooked Hubby's requested dinner for his birthday, had Zoom call with grandson, and got all my steps in.

Work. Errands. More of yesterdsy's project which could not be completed in one day.

Every year, I have new projects. This year, I also have some that date back to 2017.

Perhaps if I become clever, next year can be project-free.....

I put my indoor plant outside to benefit from yesterday's rain. I brought the bedroom (spider) plants inside, but forgot about the ones on the balcony. Those are succulents and they drank up a bunch of sunlight. They look very happy.

Made a careful & thorough grocery run today to stock hurricane supplies and restock COVID supplies. We have, on two successive days, broken all previous records here for COVID and apparently the CDC is concerned enough about the Hot Spots they are considering stepping in and shutting down areas where the political expediency is to just keep opening up the next stage(s) despite new confirmed case numbers.
I am trying to stock up on some supplies in case there is another spike in the pandemic. My state had the largest spike ever since yesterday. Every time I go to the grocery store I pick up a little extra of supplies that will be handy even during the winter weather. I am making face masks too.
Work. More of project. Workout and extra stretching.

Yesterday afternoon and this morning, I have been on a Freecycling rampage. Already collected from my front porch: upright vacuum cleaner, 4 wine glasses, 2 glass drinking glasses; toaster oven baking pan; fryer/steamer basket; 4 blouses; huge bag full of plastic food storage containers and lids (not all guaranteed to match) and a few other items that I no not recall at the moment. Awaiting offers of new homes: reusable freezer blocks; "Space Bags"; small American flag for a lawn; Zerowater filtration vessel; 5 teacher's guides to early math and reading subjects; large bag of snack size cookie and candy packets. The Sharp vacuum cleaner had 2 serious offers within 90 seconds of being posted. Almost all offers have been multiple.

I volunteered at the food bank this morning, and now I'm working at the grocery store.

guysmom,
I will be happier with LESS stuff, thank you, lol.
On Monday all of the clothing is headed for the local homeless shelter, along with a large accumulation of toiletries saved from hotel shops.

Worked at the lab this morning. Headed down the coast (lovely day BTW) and met my BFF for lunch at a Mediterranean Cafe. She returned the boxes that I mailed her and had 8 Costco cans of Lysol for me. Yeah!!!!
House tasks. Waiting for early job (it usually begins late on Sunday). Wondering about the emotion:thought ratio in the world today... some people are angry because it was determined that a black person hanged themselves. They wanted, or perhaps their narrative needed, the person to be a victim of foul play, as it the dead person had no right to make their own life or death decision without consulting nutty activists before making their choice. Who taught them to be this way? Are these nutty activists the victims of historic revisionists who re-tell history to suit themselves? But addicts and compulsive liars do it, too. Hmm..... But enough about that. I can have a short nap before work if I stop playing on the forum now.

with this pandemic we have church in our cars and listen through the radio. I like that I can "go to church" and not have a chance of getting Covid19. I miss talking to all my friends but at least we get to serve the Lord in the same spot,.
Tomorrow its back to jobs. Have a happy , safe week.
Today is the manicure and pedicure I didn't get last week, the grocery store and cooking lunch and dinner for the next few days.

My shift at work changed so I have to rearrange my shop scheduled on Wednesday.

Honny,
I am counting on you for a PM about the mani-pedi place and safety there! I hope it is great because I am getting loud complaints from my toes!

wales, I ended up not going today. I will go next weekend instead when the places can have their sanitation measures in a solid routine.

I worked myself into such a frenzy planning my perfect meals for this week that I have no energy to prep and cook.

I am not going to any salons for awhile. I can live with being a bit ragged for awhile.
