What are you doing today? (besides shopping)

Jenny, I have not. There is a beekeeper walking distance from me. You can't get more local than that.

One hour phone training, at noon, for a new round of banking and finance shops with a favorite MSC. Lots of laundry, quick trip for groceries, and some "cooking ahead." Tomorrow I begin the sprint to the EOM.

Packing, removing packed clothes and changing what I'm bringing on my trip...have done this three times, guess I'll stop. Daughter's boyfriend is taking us to roof top of great hotel to have drinks and watch fireworks.....leaving at 5:00 am tomorrow for five days of fun, food and activity. First pizza place from Naples, Italy opened a few blocks from my daughters place and got great press, and long lines, can't wait. Weather here over 100%, Chicago 76ish.

Give it a go, Honny. I had allergies out of nowhere the last 2 years and I don't do meds well. I have a teaspoon of our local (blueberry & it was so good!) in season every day and it clears up in about a week.

I ran out of Zyrtec last week. I couldn't find my Claritan so I went to BJ's to pick up a year's worth of pills. It hasn't kicked in yet.
I have severe eye allergies and take Zyrtec, the only one that helps...

Work. Technically, more and more and more work. Recycle. Transplant still more plants. Nineteen little tasks before the early job. This is what works well in my world: I get up extremely early and work at home before going anywhere else to work. It creates a tidy day, for at least a few minutes... grinning smiley

Jenny, I will give the honey a try, thanks!

Still have a migraine from yesterday. In the middle of a shop, this headache just pounced. I got through the rest of the day, but I am glad that I can stay at home and do quiet things today. Those things will include keeping the porch company, unfolding with the most relaxed stretching workout, and cooking something wonderful. Yum!

I did not stay at home. I bought a bed and bedding. I gave some of my exercise equipment to my hubby, who wanted it, and made room for the new bed. While my back was recovering from all that, I read the Mystery Shopping Magazine. I love all the information there, and the issue featuring people's experiences with earning more than $1,000/ month was intriguing. You go, earners! (I am definitely the underachiever here. My goal? $500 between now and the last date to be paid this year. Fortunately, I will probably do most or all of that in 3-4 days, if some jobs I requested are assigned to me. But still!)

Today will be homework and figuring out why ants are in my house.

"I told myself to quit you; but I don't listen to drunks." -Chris Stapleton
Try Diatomaceous earth for ants and other pesky bugs. It's a natural, non toxic bug killer. You just put some on the entrances of your home. We had a major ant problem last year and even though I made sure there was nothing open or laying out on the counter, they still kept coming. I put some of that out and the ants were not a problem in about a day.

Honny,
As the overnight temps get cooler, the ants around here like to get indoors. Whatever you elect to use, use it around exterior doors, including th patio door. Also, when you set your plants outside and then bring them in, the ants may be hitch-hiking into the house. So, a circle AROUND the plants (not stuff on them) may be required.

Baking soda works great. It's non-toxic to pets and humans and it's cheap and effective. Google it. Black ants (from experience) send out scouts to find out what is out there. They leave a trail of scent for the others to follow. It's very important to create a barrier.
Thanks everyone! They were coming in through the patio. I put a chalk line by the door, and that is keeping them outdoors.

Today is closing a bank account I opened on a shop and dropping stuff off at Goodwill.

I was browsing the Thrift Books webite early this morning. I found a cookbook that I really liked.

So far, this is a silly day. A few minutes before leaving for the early job, I started a little money-making project. Hours later, the banner on the game screen showed me that in less than thirty minutes, I had earned more than $25 million. Gee. That is almost a million a minute. Wouldn't it be nice to make so much money so quickly in rl?! And to do so while doing something else that also could generate revenue??

Anyway, that is from the fun game series called 'Build-a-Lot'.

Today is easy. Fetch a few work supplies, clean something, and work with plants. Cook something wonderful, read on the porch. Buy kleenex. (The 'migraine' was just a stuffy ol' head. Bleh.)

Irene, I hope you had a happy happy birthday. The last few days for me have involved driving to weird places to do highly bonused shops that were lagging behind and near deadline. I am off again in a few minutes for yet another day of that, and when I get home later I will knock out the reports, shower and then the spouse and I have a date night at a local venue that is hosting a comedy club type thing. I am finishing up my coffee and then I am off running. As usual I look forward to the first week of the month which is always very slow. The last week of the month I typically make more than I did all the rest of the month. Tomorrow I have scheduled nothing.I want to stay home and make powerballs (still haven't done that) and clean the kitchen top to bottom.
Waiting for the "early" job. Late start/late finish means I whack my to-do list in half.

So I figured out that recurring assignments and a few added shops on those few work days will get me to my miniscule merch/shop goal effortlessly. This is a good thing. When the allegedly early jobs spills over into my time and causes everything at home to take twice as much time as it should, it will not matter for merch/shop.

Today was a 5 mile walk with my walking partner. The time flew by. After, I went grocery shopping. I came home and made a major dent in my homework that is due tomorrow.

The majority of my meals have come from shops: restaurants to gas stations. My homemade mushroom chicken tasted so good, especially since I added a garden hot pepper!

Hubby and I volunteered to work at the merchandise tent for a blues festival, where I spent almost 45 minutes folding and organizing tee shirts.

I'm visiting a different church today. After. I will finish my homework.

No word on the job yet.

Spiritual meeting this morning, and then all afternoon grocery shops. I plan to get all of this weeks groceries, and get reimbursed for them.
Laundry, deep conditioning my very dry hair, maybe check out Macy's holiday sale. Maybe assemble and freeze chicken enchiladas. It is a rare day, with no firm responsibilities. Maybe a nap will happen.
