What are you doing today? (besides shopping)

Suhweet! That reminds me. I am a few months overdue for highlights. OTOH, I like my bleh hair again, so I have been trimming off the lightest ends and not adding color. Hmm.

Mkay. So the late job is late. As of 2:30 AM, there is no indication of when we will begin (and thus end and be free to do my little merch tasks). It's okay. I have one strick deadline shop and two merches that could be completed as late as Monday. I plan to stay awake long enough to complete all these assignments today. But just in case... Thank G for generous time frames!

Today is a light shopping day, so I will be doing a lot of homework.

Going to have a chest x-ray early this afternoon. The dermatologist said my lump is not a lipoma and she doesn't know what it is. It's just above my right collarbone, almost on my neck/throat area. It doesn't hurt or anything. My GP wants me to have an ultrasound, so I will schedule one of those, too. Fun fun.
JAS,
Sending good thoughts and a big cyber hug your way !

Kohl's has a Cuisinart air fryer for $99. I might stop in to look after the x-ray.
They are also giving another 20% off today.....

NEVER pay retail price at Kohl's! I love how they give you the receipt and tell you how much you 'saved'

I have always used coupons at Kohl's, usually 30% off with my charge card.
Me too, I wait for my 30% off and go down. I bought beautiful towels for 2.99 for my guest bath.

So the x-ray place is a walk-in, I tried to call before I went to find out what a good time to go when they would not be busy and got a recording, so I drove over. They are closed today and reopen Monday, but Monday is my root canal consultation (and the possibly might do the root canal that day) so I probably am not going to feel like going to get an x-ray after that. Tuesday is my ultrasound at a different location and then I have to go to work, so I now have to wait until Wednesday to get the chest x-ray. It would have been nice if they put on the recording that the x-ray was closed before I drove all the way over there.
Wow, JAS. That's a lot of waiting. As an option, can you go to urgent care?

Well, it's not urgent. It doesn't hurt or anything. I don't know what they would do at urgent care other than be mystified like both the GP and the dermatologist were. They would probably refer me somewhere else, LOL. It's been there since at least May and hasn't changed. The ultrasound is Tuesday and I can wait until Wednesday for the x-ray, but it's frustrating. I will probably have to wait for them to go over the x-ray and get back to me anyway.

Productive day here. Completed all scheduled IC work and am free to return to projects. So far:

- did budget & was pleased. I do not need to work more than is good for me in order to achieve all goals
- identified items to donate (not a shop)
- set up merch boxes that I had to take with me when I left the locations. I need them for a sorting project. Then, I can recycle them. How convenient.
- made a shopping list for my little trek to Wally World. Now, I just have to rouse myself and go there...

Landry in and washing, then have to go back to a job done yesterday and they had no HP stuff, so nothing to do, but (of course) I forgot to take pic of outside, will do it early and on to mall, Sprouts and Nordstrom rack where I have a credit. Later I have a Hook burger for dinner, but I'll get a salad, because I lost a pound yesterday and I'm on a roll. No open houses this weekend, thank G__. Thanks Jill for the B-day wishes, "Virgo's" are good people and everyone knows my age, I'm still in wonder how it can be true..smiling smiley

I picked up a bunch of food storage containers on a shop this week. They are still in the bags. I have to find some use for them, other than food.

Love those little organizers! Love getting riid of stuff, too. This is one of mylast remaining little projects: Get rid of stuff, and get rid of its containers!

I put my indoor plants outside to benefit from the rain. I'm still waiting for the rain.

Tomorrow is my big interview.

We are stifling under record heat so I am going to run out and do two little shops I have scheduled. Then the health food store which has lots of dried organic herbs super cheap. Then I"ll probably have to take a nap to get rid of the resulting headache. Then I hope to get all my boxes ready for my post office shops this week. That sounds like enough. I shall languish with chocolate ice cream once all those things are done.
Thanks wales and JAS! This position is an engineer for NASA's Space Communications. EXCITING!

My plants are still outside, and thirsty. I still hear thunder. No rain yet.

Nothing exciting like a job interview (good luck with that) or venturing out into the heat (please do whatever you need to do in order to be cool or at least not over heating).

I organized stuff for a sorting project. Yeah. That's it! We are doing extra work for someone who is out of town. It is simplistic and pays well, but it eats up otherwise free time every morning. This is my best energy of the entire day! I feel this a little more as each day passes. So instead of having completed this easy little sorting project, we have added extra work and I have gotten as far as re-arranging the living room and transforming it into a sorting space. Eventually...
