Today was LAZY! The most effort I exerted was thinking about making spaghetti for leftovers tomorrow. It didn't happen.

Late in the day, we made an extra trip for plant project supplies. We had forgotten one ginormous planter and all trays. *oops* But I learned that at major retailers, the month of June is too late to expect to find plenteous gardening supplies in stores. Those items are being cleared out and space is being made for the next season's new items. My houseplants do not follow retail seasons. They just grow! Hmmph.

So. Tomorrow we work on the plants that we were supposed to last week, or the week before that.........

I picked peas that were ripe from my plant. I didn't shell them right away, and they went bad. One of my tomatoes is turning red. The basil is nice and full. The habanero is starting to flower.

The African violets that are inside are alive. One of them is showing flowers.

After the truly early morning job, there was a nap. Yay! Soon, we will give our plants some love. Then, I measure for shelves. There are only three more no-cost resourceful ways to place books; it is time for shelves. grinning smiley

I didn't know you could freeze it. Do elaborate please.

On the agenda today between shops (only 2) is grocery shopping. I've been lax on the grocery shops having some much better paying shops available. So now we are out of everything. And today I give the doggies a bath. They have a love/hate relationship with baths. They love them and hate them simultaneously. I too have a love/hate relationship with doggy bathes. I hate bathing them and love them all clean and sweet smelling afterwards. We shall all survive the bath apocalypse.
Having had all inside fire sprinklers fixed, the wonderful Fire Protection people banged a latter on my computer breaking the screen. I have been without since last week, and will pick it up Wednesday...yes, they are paying, but I have to manually put in my passwords as they were lost. Sitting in the library now, and really miss my computer. Looked at a new living place yesterday, huge decision as to where I want to go, overwhelming to say the least, having options helps a bit, but.....will I win the lottery?

Slept late, laundry, clean out fridge, paperwork, pulled the bounty from the garden, and got ready for the week.
On my way to a failed shop, I stopped by the nursery. I hit the 50% off section and got a little succulent and a Neanthe Bella Palm that I will repot. I want it to get big and bushy.

Honny.
What a difference from back when you were convinced that you could kill plants by looking at them! Glad you are getting so much out of plant life, lol. And, unlike a dog, they do not have to be walked.

Work, extra work, dryer repair (or at least diagnosis), and new-to-me workout.

Picked up car which needed a hard to find part, then picked up computer which got a new screen. Did Carl's Jr. for lunch, home for report and now watching "Catfish", odd ball program about real life meetups on the internet. ,
great way to kill time. Kicking back but slowly packing and cleaning up for the open house Sunday.

We had a surprise rain storm. I set two of the inside plants outside for a drink. First thing this morning, I went for a long walk with my walking partner. I had 11,000 steps when I returned home. The remainder of the day was reports, reconciling my spreadsheet and homework.

My Garden Tower has taken a beating. We have either had dry dry dry or hurricane like rain and winds. It rained so bad that they had to close 2 bridges on Friday, but when I looked at my tower the next day, the top layer was barely moist. This weather is killing my plants.

Shopping the South Jersey Shore
I mowed early this morning and now I'll shower and then I'm going shopping for new pajamas and whatever else I find. Then a nap and cleaning.
Counting down the last of the biggest projects. Mind you, this is not as funny as a Letterman Top 10, but it is good to finish and move on to other things.

Having carpets professionally cleaned along with den couch, my neighbor owns a cleaning business.
Have to leave until it dries, so mall time, just looking.

Wow, Irene, your move is really happening!

I am in KY to see the Mammoth Caves tomorrow. Sunday, we will be driving to the Smokey Mountains.
Whew. I have restocked everything imaginable. Now, my back hurts and I am playing on the forum. And this leads into a new-to-me shop type. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, people with backs such as mine could be the official seating testers of the world. But how much should we charge for sitting our unprintables?

So, I set up a few assignments. If a few others become bonused, I might do those. But I still like the idea of the new career path as seating evaluator...

Returned today from my three-week trip to California to help son/DIL with new babies and toddler. (I'm already missing them :-) Now unpacking, reorganizing, doing laundry, and all else that comes with an extended absence.

Work, extra work, clean the vehicle thoroughly.

Now, we choose among available little tasks. This is a big improvement over the many months when everything was huge and time-consuming. We are back on track! Huzzah!

My largest challenge is to put together a packet for fishing day. I do not want to fish, and I do not know how good hiking, etc.will be. So I bring my little fun kit. Will I do my nails or read? Will I do a workout in the beloved wide open spaces, or will I detail the vehicle? Maybe I could just take a nap. But... whatevs.

Schlepping boxes three stories down to garage, more dusting for tomorrow's open house. Meeting friends at SB for coffee. Lunch out, Bank, AT@T to finally straighten out my Skype on phone. I want Face time, but only Apple has it, woe is me. Deciding when or if I want to go to Big Bear this month to meet someone I've been talking to for a year. Will figure this out after I return from San Francisco on the 17th. Much going on, maybe too much.

Live consciously....
Irene, I love Big Bear! I would go there with or without that someone... but you will decide for yourself.

Today was an early morning shop, homework, and cooking.
