I went to a Goodwill near my shops and picked up cute martini glasses and a shaker. I'm happy I got them for less than $3 because my martinis are horrid.

Love Goodwill. All through my college years, I shopped there...and at garage sales. Got all my (usually designer) clothes that way; clothes that literally outlasted me. I had to give them away when I got older and had babies. In the ol' college days, you could go to Goodwill and fill up a HUGE trash bag (like yard trash bag) for $5.
I have 4 kids and we've taken on a sort of foster. Dishes get broken in my house. I just went to Goodwill a couple days ago and got 6 red plates and 6 red with white plates (same shade of red) that will be so beautiful on my table alternating.... all for less than $3; their "tag" was the day's "sale tag" for half off. I was pretty overjoyed
I bet your martinis will taste BETTER in a glass that you didn't spend an arm and a leg for. And remember, practice makes perfect!

My Mom and Aunt are the ultimate thrifters. Mom got a NWT Chanel purse for $6. She sold it at a consignment store for $800.
