My sister and I planted some herbs and vegetables. Saw my college daughter over the weekend and spent lots of time together. We had a big Easter dinner at my other sister's house. Lots of good food, good company and made some great memories.
Tomorrow (Tuesday) going to .99 store to pick up many beautiful spring plants, redoing patio, new plants, new furniture and a new look...can't wait.

Porch Season Has Arrived!

In the event I am able to drag myself in from the porch, I will get rid of a boatload of stuff, clean a few things, and plan a camping trip. If that does not happen, I will plan the camping trip while enjoying time on the porch.

In other news, I am awaiting information and answers to questions. (This has been going on for more than a year. There are potential serious legal issues, and I do not want to be involved with any illegal doings.) So... wish me luck.

Podiatrist appointment at noon, seems some nerve problems on my foot has left me numb, checking it out.
Trip to Nordstrom rack and home for the continuation of redoing my patio. Will enjoy this beautiful day relaxing in my new patio chair and enjoying the gorgeous blooming trees around my house....quiet and relaxing. Something to be said for NOT living in the conjested noisy city, this is a lovely sub and I'm finally appreciating it.

After a few days of running my legs off, today it's just some phone calls for apt shops and errands. I am kind of jonesing to get out in the yard and plant something. Maybe tomorrow I'll have time.
Hiking! Near one of my fave mountain towns!

Or not. I took a bonused shop because I just kneeeeewwwww that I could hike the hills in Springtime. I was going to be like a modern-day, off-key Von Trapp! Then, I got there and saw the snow. *sigh* The drive was pleasant, though. And the money was good.

Someone told me about a nearby hiking trail with a butterfly garden. I used my GPS to find it. It took me on back roads. The three entrances were closed off. I came back home.

Sounds lovely, Irene!
Going to find a card for my daughter as her cat of 13 years (Moses) died and she is so sad, he was truly a part of her family. Doing stuff around house like cleaning out my closet (again), and then out for my Japanese BBQ lunch.

Irene, if you have nothing better to do, you could add the finishing touches to my porch. Furniture is there. That's it! Last year, I had flowers. This year, I hope to find time to fetch flowers...

That is sad about the cat. Some pets really are like furry people.

Look for a .99 store near you or on one of your explorations, they now have gorgeous plants, pots and dirt. Happy digging. My daughter's first loss....boohoo.

Today I took the day off from shopping as I have been hitting it really hard. I'm tackling the floors in my house today (they're disgusting LOL) and trying to think of something good to cook. Also going to clean out my fridge. Dang I better get started.
Irene, I am so sorry for your daughter's loss!

At 10 AM my main client MSC releases May shops to the 5 shoppers who have self-assign rights in this area. So, about 30 minutes of signing up. Then I have 2-3 people coming to dig out some azaleas, a ton of day lilies, and a few daffodils to take away. This is a group from the local Freecycle board who will bring their own shovels and take things to their homes to plant. Sure beats paying someone to thin the crowded front garden! I will be on hand to direct the big dig. Then groceries and three MS reports from yesterday's shops.

Beautiful day at the south Jersey shore, so after I extract myself from the couch, I'm going up to the beach to collect some stuff to turn into jewelry. Only a month or so until our population grows a trillion (yes, really lol) so these sunny off season days are a blessing.

I'm assuming the .99 store is like the Dollar store, but a cent cheaper? We don't have them, but that is awesome that you can get plants there. I just redid my Garden Tower for this season and it cost me over $50 just in plants. And your patio sounds fantastic!

They are similar to the dollar store, but I like them better..we have tons of them, some better than others, and I am lucky to have a really great one. I am Lactose Intolerant and they get those great ice cream bars costing 5.49 in whole foods for a dollar. Can't tell you the bargains I've gotten, and they get Spring plants, pots and dirt, amazing savings.

That's fantastic. I'm obsessed with dollar stores and especially my Dollar Tree. I have written a few blogs about all the great deals you can get there, but would love to check out one of these stores you have. Have a great Saturday!
