Okay my jaw is dropping that it didn't translate into scrambled characters. I apologize to those who find it offensive.

So why is it that a four letter cussword translates into six characters on the forum???? @#$%&.

This isn't a four letter word translation, but EVERY SINGLE TIME I type the word "great" in my cell phone when texting, it will change it to "grew"....regardless of context!! EVERY. SINGLE. TIME!! Drives me crazy, and THEN I feel like SAYING the 4 letter word....ha ha!!
Today I ran a ton of errands and binge watched some Netflix.

Making breakfast for my 1st. Airbnb, who turned out renting month to month, nice, professional, respectful, he's going to replace all my three story high light bulbs, (always pays to wait it out), perfect for me as he travels, paid more that I was asking, ...all's good. Still have my alone time...smiling smiley

Irene, good for you! Doing new things keeps life interesting. If he is going to rent from you on a month-to-month basis you may want to negotiate for him to use your kitchen instead of supplying him with daily breakfast. Your call of course, but may give you more freedom if he fends for himself instead of relying on you every day.

I really don't like anyone in my kitchen, I make coffee and that's all he wants, I'll have dinner when I do a big'cook....he's not into food, goes to the gym...it's nice to have company, who thought I'd ever have said that??
This was not in my plan, but my friend starting doing it when she found herself an empty nester and it is working. I do prefer having one person as opposed to the coming and going, whatever works.....I interviewed a student who had a dog...nope, not on my dime.

I took a sleeve of saltines and made peanut butter sandwiches for the squirrels, placing them out on the deck rail. There are six squirrels sitting on the deck rail eating, holding their little sandwiches in the their front paws, and lchickadees, sparrows, and other small birds are hopping around on the deck underneath eating the crumbs. Cute.
Because I have ponds behind my house, if I did that the rats would come and chase all the others away. OTOH, because I have ponds I have had a great blue heron roost in a tree outside my window, about 20 feet from my deck. And, we have ducks, geese, deer fox, coyote (recent arrivals that we hope will eat rats!), both gray and black squirrels, and a family of beavers who have built a dam at one end of a pond.

I live close to the metro park, so we get a nice variety of wildlife. I see redtailed hawks here and there, along with the owls, deer, foxes, and squirrels (we also have black squirrels). I have seen coyotoes dead on the road but not in my yard. We get a lot of groundhogs and rabbits too. No beavers here, but I live 1/4 mile from the lake so we don't see them or herons, ducks, and geese much without going down to the lake. But definitely NO RATS!!! UGH!
Fox and coyote are more sporadic around here. Our herd of deer has gotten quite big. I've seen as many as 20 at one time. It also surprised me to see several bucks hanging out together. Wild turkeys are off and on while the groundhogs, rabbits, hawks, owls and squirrels are permanent residents. We have creeks in the woods, but no open bodies of water nearby. After heavy rains the water draining down the back of everyone's property can get to be a few inches deep. Imagine my surprise when seeing some ducks swimming there.

Planned my whole day around the freezing rain that was supposed to start at 19 am.....then noon....then 2 pm. It finally came at 3 pm, at which time the temperature had risen above freezing. Not complaining AT ALL!

I did laundry in the hotel guest laundry room. And I may or may not have finally purchased a GoPro.

Happy Tuesday! Today is another wide-open-spaces between assignments day. Temperature is almost warm, roads are clear, and I have time to stop for any interesting photo ops. So good.

Enjoy the morning with my kids , the teacher I help had a Christmas gift for my some body wash from Bath and Body and a cute picture of my kids. Tonight I begin a new Bible class at my friends's Ruthie house , a Bath Moore study so it should be good. I have a few phone calls I ned to make about shops before I go to my Bible study
I have made chicken pot pie before, yummy. It's not hard to do really. I do love Marie Callendar's too, yummy yummy. When I make pot pies I get those refrigerated pie crusts that you unroll, it's so much easier than making your own. Also a rotisserie chicken helps cut some corners. I just Google recipes when I want to make something, there are so many different ways to cook!
I go on Foodnetwork, just being lazy......you can use creme of mushroom soup...I'd never make the crust that's the hard part.

Live consciously....
Yeah, you can use cream of mushroom soup but I think cream of chicken would be better. But some heavy whipping cream and chicken broth cooked down to a thick consistency would make it even better (or a thick beshemel sauce if you are worried about calories).
