I just got the job I wanted having applied 2 hours ago....my favorite restaurant here which is shopped every couple months, and I usually miss it, no email sent, it's on ISS which doesn't allow me to self-assign....a great lunch today with leftovers for dinner. Macy's is having their sale, will take a look. Many phone calls this afternoon.. Salvation Army came yesterday, garage clean, took it all, feel like starting over. Not buying anymore, window shopping only. Heard from my beautiful daughter, she loved her Channakah gift, we lit candles together on skype, nice.....gorgeous weather 80%, where is winter? CA the best.....

Cooking! Cornish game hens, cranberries, etc. Yum! The plan is to nosh on hens all weekend and change up the sides as we go along. We will see how that goes... Ideally, it will be efficient and tasty. At worst, I will cook more of something later. The best news of the day is the prospect of new thyroid medication. Do you know what it is like when the thyroid plummets!? If not, good for you. Pray unceasingly for perpetually good thyroid. If so, I will stop whining now. You know all about that and will not want more of the same icky info.

Meanwhile, we are enjoying holiday tips & treats from our customers. They are lovely. They remembered us even before we gave them their holiday greetings. This might just be how work is supposed to be.

Talking of work, do we need a thread about changes in net neutrality and how this may impact on mystery shoppers?

Work, this evening my Rotary club has our annual Share the Joy Christmas project. This year we will help 27 families with 65 children that are in an immediate crisis such was, fire, illness, unemployment, accidents with no resources for the holidays. We shop with them ($50 per child), take them to a catered dinner and help wrap the presents, and send them home with the wrapped gifts, a food basket and turkey. The joy and gratitude are heartwarming and good for the soul.
Did my grocery shopping today and picked up my last two Christmas gifts...I'm DONE shopping!!
Having a new recruit ride shotgun while I do 3 garage shops. (Someone asked if I also mentor shoppers. Yes, frequently.)

On the way back we went out to a local mexcain place . Now we will put the bed together and make it. I had agift for a friend delivery while we were go so I wil wrap it tonight so I can take it to church tomorrow. Also did a phone shop

I was supposed to have an accordion concert this morning but my son has had a fever the past couple days so we decided to keep him home. I have a friend who is in town for a short visit. If my son is feeling better this afternoon we will go to her mother's house to visit her.
Watching fires as winds increase, otherwise doing a grocery today and a bit of cooking. Walking, visiting a friend in my complex, another lazy day in paradise.

My amazing life is moving fast. Today I"m finally free to dig into the video training. As soon as I clean off my desk as it has 7 months of crap built up on it. We purchased an extra large city lot. We are tearing down the old house on it and plan to build tiny apartments for low income folks using tiny house techniques to maximize comfort in a tiny footprint. I just accepted some shops from an intrepid Maritz scheduler who was working on Sunday. I am so excited about Christmas and 2018. Bring it!
I am cobbling together shopping days for next week. I would rather sleep. But I need another $200 bucks to pay for repairs for a car that is... well... erm.. oy... GAH!!!!! CoffeQueen, welcome back! This is your thread, after all.

CQ,
We could use more intrepid entrepreneurs like you and your spouse in the housing industry! Good luck!

Thanks Wales. We have a lot of homeless in our downtown area so we would like to get some of them off the streets. We are aiming at very low rent, which means low building costs so it's quite a challenge. But we have a plan and can visualize it, have been visualizing it for a few years now.

Thanks for the welcome back Shop-et-al. My stress level is back to normal which is a very low level indeed! LOL
Today I'm hoping to finish up my Christmas shopping. It's hard planning around my son's nap and snack schedules so that means lots of short trips instead of one big trip.

We have a friend coming over for dinner tonight.
Monitoring shop apps. If certain ones are not approved soon, I will delete them and choose other shops which are plenteous, pay slightly less, and are slightly less enjoyable. It's all good if it pays for car repairs. Would it be great if, on the last mystery shopping day of the year, some stray shop were available and bonused at a hundred or more dollars? That would be convenient. It would allow me to sleep more. I can dream... grinning smiley

I have been binge listening to music. I listened to Andrea Bocelli in duet with as many sopranos were on Youtube. 'Time to Say Goodbye' is the sort of song that inspires one (if one is beyond geeky and nerdy) to compare versions. I have Christmas faves that I could listen to forever, if it were not necessary to compare Bocelli duets and listen to other music. I wonder if anyone would compose, I mean create, a mystery shop for this. Hmm...

I'm starting the countdown to Thursday, which is when two of my sons (along with family groups) fly into the airport. I need to do the last of the babyproofing for the active 15 month old grandson, wash the kitchen floor which is beyond filthy, and get food for five extra people in the house. Unless I see a store with an insanely big bonus there will be no shopping for me this week.

Spent more than an hour on a "chat" with Customer Service at Amazon trying to close an old account that they have said was closed TWICE before, The last time that we "closed" it, their system added a THIRD account, apparently. Every time that I go to their website it automatically logs me into one of the accounts that does NOT have Prime and does NOT have my Amazon credit card as a payment option! I hope that someone kills the sorcerer's apprentice this time!

Thanks Jas! Today I'm getting my paperwork ready for a 3 day blitz of well bonused shops that have suddenly appeared out of thin air. After that it's going to be all Christmas until it's over.
I went to my local librarty Christmas party this afternoon. We take about Christmas and the books we are going to read in the new year.
Small job, return, pickup eye drops, more errands, home to prepare for a big Investment Bank job, and making plans to go into the city Sat., to do a Rodeo Dr. retail and meet a friend for lunch......looking forward to my week.

We have surveillance cameras on our property so we spent the night setting up traps for would be gift thieves. We wrapped empty boxes and put them on our porch and then made sure our cameras would catch them in the act. Now I'm sleep deprived but I only have two bank shops today and then I can catch a nap, hopefully.
No shops for me today. I'm on the way to a periodontist appointment, then I get to spend the rest of the day finishing up and posting grades for one of the electronic music classes I teach at the local community college.

Have synthesizers, will travel...
Had to delay a trip into the city for 3-4 shops due to a very upset tummy. Hoping to be better by tomorrow when I have a lunch with a shopper friend scheduled. (Not a shop.)
