My son's kidney looks healthy. He wasn't too impressed with the technician making him lay still (ish) and putting a weird gel on his tummy, but she was pretty quick so it wasn't too much of an inconvenience for him.

Today I'm buying a few groceries while my husband takes my son to his swimming lesson. My mom is coming over for dinner tonight and we will watch This Is Us.
Sensei , Good news about your son kidney. Today I will be making a few phone call shops and going to my church Bible study. I love the ladies there.
My husband and I are taking our son out for donuts this morning. This afternoon I need to clean the bathroom.
Too many errands. To make up for it, watching a silly movie. Finally, listening to wonderful music while making a little progress on a project.

Gorgeous day 78%, leaving early for Kohl's, library, mall and Whole Foods. Home doing garage work and house stuff. Work tomorrow, but not today......Disappointed about our three U.C.L.A. basketball players shop lifting and facing jail time, but parents are rich and money talks, still, they can't play in game....youth is foolish and they shamed U.C.L.A and their team.....HMO is re-surficing streets Monday at 7AM, need another parking place out of complex, always something.....

I went to the city wide Bible study on John this morning, before class we had a little breakfast socail. I am head back to see my doctor this afternoon. I feel so much better then I di when I went to see two weeks ago.
I took off today to see a specialist for my knee. Turns out it is arthritis and he gave me a cortisone shot. I feel better already. For the rest of the day, I ran errands and went to lunch.

I'm taking my son to his swimming lesson this morning. This afternoon I'm calling the physical therapist to try to make my son an appointment. He sees his physical therapist a couple of times a year to monitor his progress from his clubfeet.
I am having a long morning dawdle, with lots of coffee. So much jet lag, plus time change, all in 4-5 days hits me pretty hard. It always has, so it is not just one of those inconveniences of aging. Later I will make a grocery run, pay bills, and get ready to return to the November shops tomorrow. A long holiday weekend is the ideal time for me to get into and out of DC with the least traffic. I just need to avoid the main routes being used by the Rolling Thunder folks. I like them; but not as far as traffic is concerned.

Mustering up courage to color my own hair. The salon cost is high but reasonable, given the volume of the mane. All I need is a block of time, a few units of color, and courage. This will be all-over color enhancement (and we do hope this means all over my hair and not the floor). Seriously, today's products are promising in that they are drip-proof and conform to standard colors such as those found in the color charts at salons. I chose the color, budgeted for the product, and plan to use some of the holiday weekend for this task. I have five days off from one job, so there is time for me, my projects, and my napping. So good.

I am doing a Business Verification this morning, health kiosk, manicure...busy this week. Trying to reach a target. Gum got infected, so, on antibiotics every 8 hours for 10 days.....sad smiley Picking up some healthy soup, not in a cooking mood. I color my own hair, takes 30 minutes, but always leave some behind (if you know what I mean)...

I nwent to coffee at a friend's house this morning. Praying now that I am beginning to feel well again , I can found some shops this afternoon.
I went to meet my friend at a nearby mall and take her to lunch for her birthday. Everyplace we went had at least a thirty minute wait, so we went to a place closer to home. We had a wonderful time.

A few summers ago, I dyed my hair Golden Blonde and it turned out Lucy Red. Retouches made it brighter red and didn't cover grays. I then dyed it back to my natural color and it faded and the red showed and so did the grays. A few months back, I had it dyed at a salon. It's my natural color, and the only grays that show are the ones growing in at the roots.

Difficult to cover greys at temple, but I color my own and thann G__ haven't had honny's problem. Takes 30 minutes, and turns out so.. used to be Auburn/dr brn, but lightened up to light brown with blond streaks. Finding right color is the hard part....unless you move in slow motion, won't take as long as you think.

The work of removing a kitchen cabinet to accommodate the new combo washer/dryer will begin. This will also entail running water supply and waste lines above the dropped ceiling in the basement apartment's kitchen, which is directly below my kitchen. Once my contractor (also my neighbor of 34 years) has this underway I will drive into DC to do 3 shops.

I broke a tooth. It cannot be repaired until next week. Somehow, I have to be okay to go to work later. Therefore, it was a good idea to distract myself by playing a Carol Reed game this morning. I love this logic. grinning smileygrinning smileygrinning smiley

Ditto. Watching Florida State lose again. Awful season for me.
Oh no. My mom would be so disappointed. She had season tickets to all the FSU home games and went to them all up until right before she got sick and passed away.
