No I am not, that just came with the one on sale. I will probably make italian sausage but not links. I will mostly use it for ground chicken for chili, ground turkey for burgers, and ground beef for lots of things.

Yesterday I baked the Halloween pumpkin and let the juice drain out in the refrigerator. Today I processed the completed puree (5 3-cup bags) and juice (3 3-cup containers) and froze everything for down the line.

I'm also walking on air ever since last night when we got a text and photos from Oldest Son announcing his engagement.

Yesterday, my knee and thigh were hurting so bad, I went to the emergency room. There was no injury or trauma, but maybe years of running on concrete catching up to me. Also, being 49 is a factor.

They took x-rays and told me that it was not a stress fracture, arthritis, or damaged cartilage. They told me to wear my knee brace, take some hippy drugs, and see an ortho.

I felt better today, but I was very careful.

Bone broth. I swear by it for cartilage and collagen rebuilding. If you don't have time to make your own bone broth, buy some in powder form and drink it everyday.
hmmm...I eat pho twice a week. I also take Osteo Bi-Flex, which has helped tremendously.

Happy Friday! This is my play time for the day. Later, there will be no time for anything besides work, work, and more work. Eventually, the payments will arrive and I may be pleased about that.

Wow! New fridge being delivered at 8:45 AM (right now). Quite the way to start the day. The 3rd of the month is when SS disability payments get deposited, so I am taking a disabled friend to the grocery store for a BIG grocery trip. Also bank and post office errands. Two MS reports from yesterday to do before heading out. Deciding what to pack for LV conference and packing. Planning and prep for a lunch to take on the plane for that trip. (Tomorrow!)

Getting ready to go to a twice-yearly weekend business meeting of a group I belong to. The up and down temperatures mean I'll have to take twice the clothes I otherwise would....so I can decide each morning if I need a long sleeved or short sleeved shirt.

I was going to go to a broad meeting of a group , I belong to but plans get chnaged. I am going to a friends house later today with the ladies from church. We have what we call First Friday where we each take turns hosting a party or some kind of outing for the group. Last Easter time I had a hat party and this year my month is January so we will took a look at the coming year and back on the past year but I am not sure how yet.

I got the grade for my final. An A, so I will get an A in the course, even if I don't submit the last assignment. I'm going to complete all of the assignments though.

Tomorrow, I'm doing a Meetup for bible study and dinner. I truly enjoyed the last one. Early in the day, I will be running all of my errands. Next week is the appointment with the sports medicine doctor.

Tonight, I am taking a hippy pill!

Accordion lesson this morning. Unfortunately with Halloween I didn't get much practice time in this week. Later today I will vacuum the carpet and the furniture.
I'm watching football all day!

Until tonight, it had been awhile since I posted. I still mystery shop, albeit on a very limited basis. I work from home in a full time salary position and I love it. I love the freedom to be able to pick and choose assignments that I want to do. I'm not sure if I would go back to shopping full time, or even scheduling; it would depend on the circumstances and company involved for scheduling. After experiences with some of the most vile and toxic MSC's and the representatives for those companies, it ruined my view on the industry in general.

In my current position, I know I'm not expendable and have been with the company for less than a year (11 months) and already been promoted 5 times. I'm in line for another one (Operations Manager) soon and I am excited. I never got that recognition for any MSC, despite putting in 5 times more effort for one of the ones I scheduled for.

Arguing with fools is like playing chess with a pigeon...
...No matter how good you are, the pigeon will s@^t on the board and strut around like it won anyway.

Not scheduling for ANY company.
I stayed in bed until 11am catching up on TV shows from the week and napping. I gout out of bed at noonish. I ran errands all afternoon, and then went to the Meet Up. That was a LOT of fun. Another participant and I stayed after and talked.

Today is church day , then Lannie has to woirk at the library smetimes I go with him. I need to wash clothes today too.
Church this morning. When we get home we will watch the rest of the Broncos game. Later I need to clean the floors and do some laundry. I'll clean out my fridge this morning. This afternoon one of my friends is supposed to call to talk about her wedding plans.
Two easy jobs, appliance and grocery where I'll look for something special for dinner. Home with a bit of cleaning and watching movies. Talk about a light rain, hope so.....T,V, and relaxing all afternoon. Marathon from L.A. to my town has streets closed and a hassle getting anywhere.

Three jobs, a nap, and collecting information that will complete my personal files. Yawn...

Oh, myyyy... I just looked the numbers about how much time I spend online for work/non-work purposes. That is too much time. Period. Maybe various vague ideas (not mentioned here) are coming together now and pointing to the correct decision. That is to change all of work and life until time and energy are commensurate with what I want my life to be.

Happy Monday! I have exceeded my new daily allotment of device time, but... oh well. At least I will be on-device less today than I was yesterday. Today is for shops and little personal things. Then, tomorrow, the day is all about the personal things. Huzzah! smiling smiley

My son has an ultrasound scheduled for this morning. He was born with only one kidney so they are doing an ultrasound to be sure his kidney looks healthy. If there are any signs of problems they can order some tests but the ultrasound is the least invasive way to get a peak.
Good wishes to your son....today brings no work, but many personal things, phones and such. Take a walk on our walking trail in complex, and maybe exchange a blouse at Macy's, looked cute on hanger, tried it on and the sleeves were like parachutes. Making a soup, since dental work, lost 5 pds., working to keep it off. Watching "Dancing with the stars" tonight......and the winner is?
