My girls made peppers stuffed with spinach, cheese and chopped tomatoes along with fettuccine Alfredo. Their grandmother was proud and loved it. :-). My Mom made chocolate chip cannolli cups topped with sliced strawberries and powdered sugar. DH and I cleaned up. I know that is a big help.
I'm making a tamale pie for today.

tomorrow, spanakopita

that kind of weather here for cooking.
We're having an Italian pot luck. Brother in law is making his famous tray of Italian deli meats, with provolone, roasted peppers and Italian rolls. Other brother bringing a tray of ziti. Niece bringing salad. Other relatives bringing appetizers. I brought the desserts - brownies, birthday cupcakes (nephew Christmas baby), chocolate candies... and we're all bringing cocktail mixers and favorite bottle of liquor.
Will be quite an event this evening lol.
Today and tomorrow will be my lazy days. Ordered BBQ and brisket chili with baked beans before places closed. I squeezed lime on it and cut serrano peppers for the chili.
Emptied out the fridge and roasted some old mixed greens and vegetables in olive oil and balsamic glaze. Threw away the slimy parts and cut off the bad parts. Cut thyme to season.
I have all the ingredients. Today I will be making homemade broccoli & cheddar soup.
Have a ham purchased at a good price from Aldi...maybe this weekend.
I started to put together a zucchini/cheese casserole. Husband came home with a bag full of zucchini on sale a few days ago. Started to grate the 1st 'zucchini' for the casserole and realized he had bought a bag of cucumbers. I don't eat cucumbers and they can't be cooked. Guess whos gonna be eating a lot of cucumber salad this week?

We had a frozen Ginos' East Pizza instead.
LOL Rho. Mushroom, spinach, cheese quesadillas and grilled chicken cutlets. Never ending chocolates and oranges. Tomorrow, DH will make a run to our local fire department to give chocolates, cookies and a huge coffee cake to our town's finest.
Spouse made homemade meatball sandwiches using grass fed ground meat and sausage for meatballs, Wegman's Grandpa sauce, provolone and parmesan cheese, and fresh rolls from a local Italian bakery right out of the oven.
My awesome Mama; Spinach lasagna, tomato basil soup, garden salad, Italian bread, butter cake. Mocha lattes in the Espresso machine.
maverick, what is Wegman's Grandpa sauce? I shop quite a bit at my local Wegmans and don't think I'ever ever seen it....bought some great fresh bread there yesterday....
Cooking up a storm here today....meatloaf, baked potatoes, cream of mushroom soup, onion gravy...we'll have with some pinot noir, my favorite
Huge pot of Onion soup and crostini. My Mom and I baked a cheesecake and ricotta cookies. That's it folks!
yesterday I had a favorite: Kung Pao shrimp and hot and sour soup.

later on, a sfogliatelle.
Cleaning out the fridge. Making an ad-hoc vegetable medley of sorts.

@Madetoshop Where are you?!

It described as "a zesty sauce featuring Italian sausage, sweet roasted red peppers, & wine." Should still be in the pasta sauce aisle.
Thank you, I'll look for that tomorrow, since I'm headed there.

Yesterday I made homemade Indian food, first time ever to try doing that.

Curried dal (similar to lentils but yellow) soup....was tasty.
