Irene, I thought your dinner last night sounded scrumptious. Our meal is what I chose to become the tradition when hosting duties passed on to me. It is delish, but it is also incredibly easy to pull off by myself in just an hour since the rolls and dessert are done in advancesmiling smiley

Imagine being in Japan and choosing KFC... In Iceland, you might eat reindeer or puffin... and then there are the stollen and other, more familiar dishes from around the world. Just now, I am off to find out how to prevent the reindeer from being too 'gamey'... grinning smiley

I have a choice between two batches of leftovers: enchiladas and beans or pasta with pesto, shrimp and fresh tomato. Will have one tonight and the other tomorrow night. This is like having money in the bank!
