What are you having for dinner? AGAIN!

Admittedly, I've never tried green beans on the grill and would not want to. Potatoes are a whole other storysmiling smiley You do have to parcook them before grilling.

Chicken black bean Tostada...so much Mexican food, I'm growing a sombrero

I made macaroni salad. There is no cheese in it. It is somewhat like a recipe my mother made many years ago. I remembered most of the recipe. This much is good. It needs a little something. But what? (It does not need cheese, haha.)

Grilled chicken wings with a roasted raspberry chipotle sauce and potatoes roasted on the grill since I am currently oven-less.

If only. Ann nixed the stouffers idea, so I went and got hawaiian chicken sandwiches from Hardees. It was my first and last. Not so great. I'm beginning to understand why people eat so many burgers. It's a known quantity that is hard to screw up. I try not to eat red meat but I'm about ready to give in. BTW I noticed they were the same price with fries and without fries. So I said no to the free fried, salty carbs.

Burgers aren't my absolute favorite food, but I gotta say, if I could only eat one thing for the rest of my life I would choose burgers.

When home I make only turkey burgers, trying to cut back on red meat....it is an acquired taste, but with pickles, and all the trimmings, quite good and better for you.

Grilled tuna with a 3 chili glaze (that I turned into a 1 chili glaze) ane cilantro lime rice (from a box but I'm totally finding a recipe for it OMG) and a slice of homemade rosemary bread.

I am marinating a small prime rib roast right now. I will serve it with mashed potatoes and broccoli. Yum.
Nice. I like eggplant, hubby doesn't, so I only get it when out to eat. But usually not my first choice in a restaurant because I love chicken parm better. So much healthier to have eggplant, though. I am sad also that I can't cook salmon at home because though he likes all kinds of fish, he only likes salmon sushi but doesn't like it cooked. So weird.

My prime rib came out great! I coated it with lots of pepper and kosher salt and pushed semi-cooked cloves of garlic inside, then rubbed it down with EVOO. I found several great cooking methods, and I went with the one that had me cook it briefly at a high temp to crust the fat on the top then lower the temp to slowly cook the insides, basting occasionally with the run-off juice. I used a meat thermometer at the end just to make sure it was done. Yum.
My friend/neighbor across the street made us a home made chicken pot pie last night. It was so good. It's amazing how much we miss home cooked food.
That is great. How well I remember that neighbors would bring food if there was a new baby or someone was in the hospital, or someone's kitchen was unusable! When I had the measles at age 4, everyone knew that my mother was stressed and busy and the home cooked food poured in!
