We eat some meat, especially that made in a slow cooker, but I've always loved vegetables -- even as a small child. We grow lots of our own, belong to a nice CSA, and live near many Asian and Hispanic markets with great prices on a wide array of vegetables for extras, fruits, and winter needs. We just harvested the first fig crop and white mulberries.
I recently watched a few Netflix diet-oriented documentaries ("What the Health," "Forks Over Knives"
that concern me -- what do you think of these shows? Are they biased? Accurate?
In any case, I enjoy reading all of your creative menu ideas -- and am making a coconut milk version of butter chicken in a slow cooker today. Steamed broccolini, snow peas, bean sprouts, jalapenos, and cilantro garnish.
I apologize if this is (too) off topic...
