What are you having for dinner? AGAIN!

Corned beef, made by my wife in the slow cooker, on rye, home made potato salad with half sour pickles on the side. Pop open a beer, in this case St Pauli Girl (didn't have Guinness) and I am set. I am wearing a green Guinness T-shirt however. Going back for a second sandwich now.

Happy St Patrick's Day.

I ordered Bob Evans take-out over the web (not a shop). I ordered a family meal of chicken tenders w/ honey mustard, mac & cheese, green beans and mashed potatoes with gravy, and a dozen rolls. I have hubby pick up the order. He comes home and said they are out of honey mustard sauce and have been out of it for over TWO WEEKS. They gave him some type of "wildfire bbq sauce" instead that was disgusting. They gave us no butter for the dozen rolls, no plates, no napkins and 2 sets of utensils. I was livid. I called the manager up and gave her an earful. Won't be ordering from there again. I wish it was a shop so I could put all of this in a report.
Reheating leftover lasagna, steamed broccoli, garlic bread.

After two and a half days of heavy, carb-laden meals, tonight is simply charcoal grilled chicken thighs with sauteed zucchini.

Pulled pork cooked in slow cooker with pieces of mango and soy sauce. I used toasted mini gourmet pita and inserted a sliced cucumber. I ate them with sliced carrots and celery. I had hot water and a slice of lemon to wash them all down.
Pork loin, stuffed artichokes, baked yams and a chocolate caramel cheesecake

I just started up the slow cooker with beef tips in a mushroom and wine base that will make its own gravy. I will have that with mashed or boiled potatoes and a green veg.

Tonight I am making a steak and broccoli stir fry for my teen grandsons. Just found out that they are eating out! What else is new in this day and age. They are 18 and 16, mom's away skiing for the week-end. My husband and I will eat anyway.
IRENE how are you feeling?
