Nothing in US or Canada on job board. Do they email invites for jobs as only way to get or something?
One MSC that I do once or twice a year says upfront that it pays 60 days AFTER the client approves the report. That could be up to three months after filing the evaluation. Maybe the clients are deadbeats? I, too, wonder which is taking advantage of the IC? The MSC or is it the client?@Irene_L.A. wrote:
Let's use DJC as an example and bravo to them, paying within days makes me wonder why other companies make you wait over 6 weeks to get your reimbursement back. The Trend also needs mentioning for paying twice a month. please allow me to understand why payroll doesn't pay the end of the month, they get the reports back within a week for the most part. I'd like an answer and thank you in advance.
There is one I did a shop for once (it is one of those listed via Gig Spot that promises to pay 60 days AFTER the client accepts the report. Seriously? It was a no-fee shop with reimbursement only. Why would anyone wait up to 90 days to get reimbursed for a taco or a burger? But the bigger question is how can an MSC disrespect its shoppers so much and stay in business? They can't exist on the one-time - never-again shoppers.@Irene_L.A. wrote:
Companies saying when their paying and go way over that time limit, are not one's I work for, we all have a choice, burn me once, shame on you, burn me twice, shame on me.

We are getting away from the purpose of this area of the forum. This area is supposed to be KUDOS, and the thread is a thread giving kudosspecifically to DJC. I'd like to see critical comments and any posts that do not relate to Kudos to DJC deleted. It seems disrespectful to muddy a DJC KUDO thread with criticisms of other companies. Another place and a new thread might be more appropriate.
Still on Sassie but assignments are made directly via schedulers.@SoCalMama wrote:
Do they still use the SASSIE platform? I signed up on 02/21/2003 apparently. I don't recall doing that!
They will be happy to have you shopping for them. The area is awash in client locations.@SoCalMama wrote:
Sounds good. I am south of both Irene and PuaM.
