Anyone have a link to that handy excel spreadsheet that was floating around here?
Now scheduling travel shops for the day after Christmas through mid-January.
I don't recall ever seeing a spreadsheet with the dates, but here is the thread with a list. [www.mysteryshopforum.com]

Do most reputable companies pay direct deposit, PayPal, or check in mail? I am new at Mystery Shopping and nervous about giving out my checking account info.
I have done Paypal and bank with mentioned as well as check. You will have to see for yourself who does what. No so much company concern but security of company server.

Would you write a check to pay the paperboy? To make a purchase at a flea market where they don't accept credit/debit cards? To pay a bill? To make a charitable donation? To send as a gift in a birthday card? Every check you write has the name of your account, the 9 digit routing number and your account number. It is up to the bank to prevent unauthorized deductions from your account, which they have done well for nearly a century despite handing out your bank account information every time you write a check. You probably have more to worry about with a check you receive bouncing or PayPal deciding to return funds to the sender than the bank information on your check being used to raid your account.
I think if a company stole a MS's protected financial information we would all be talking about it and they wouldn't be in business anymore.

It varies honestly. I have good luck with MSI/Trendsource with direct deposit on time, always.
Bestmark gives me a paper check, also on time always.
Intelli is a paypal payer and I've never had an issue.
It's really a toss up but I do like a good Direct Deposit. PS, just read up on your companies-- folks here hold nothing back

Just took NINE months for me to get paid (Paypal) on three shops with HDE Dunlap Enterprises.
As they accepted one of seven applications yesterday!

Trend Source pays on the 5th and the 20...you seem to have wrong information as to when they pay. My experience with Bestmark is they pay 5 weeks after job is done, that is my experience. since they pay by check, it takes a few days longer.

They will sometimes be early when the 5th falls on a weekend. Just one more reason I love them.

It can also depend on your bank. My bank sometimes delays them a day, depending on when it was initiated. If they pay at noon their time, it's 3pm here and my bank rolls it over to next day :/

I got mine today...it was deposited the afternoon of the 5th., and showed up today the 6th. That is usual for me, and I work for them a lot. Now and then (as you said), it gets in early due to weekend. but I always look for it on the 6th or 21st.

TrueGuest pays by check 8-10 days after the shop is approved. That's the quickest I've seen (in my very limited experience with only 10 companies). Occasionally, JMRidgway has special quick pay arrangements. Last year they offered one week turnarounds before the holidays. I agree about BestMark also paying in a timely fashion.

Kudos to Intouch Insight. Report to payment in a week. Instructions were clear, the assignment was simple, and the payment was fast. Can't ask for better than that!

I am new to Mystery Shopping and Best Mark is the only company I have shopped for so far. I did my first shop on 11/9/16, submitted it that day, it was approved the next day, and put in the check the next day. It was in the mail and I got it on 11/17. I think that is a pretty good turn around. As long as you submit your receipts and survey following the directions and it must be turned in by 10 AM the next day, you will do fine. They process checks twice a month on Thursdays. In November it was 11/11 and 11/25 and yes - they did work Thanksgiving or maybe during the night Wednesday night before Thanksgiving day - as I checked the site and it was all processed on turkey day. So far, so good! I have done 5 more shops and all were approved...so I should be getting a check this week (Thursday) for them.
