While Big D in July is not a prime travel choice, my poor snakebitten Atlanta Braves are playing the Rangers my birthday weekend, and we are a big time baseball family, so coming home for a couple of games, along with BBQ and TexMex!

As for the music... if everybody played, there would be nobody to listen ;-)
We share the same birthday month, as well! I've been to the new ballpark one time during the season after COVID. It was in a suite with air conditioning. It felt so nice.

The old ballpark was brutal during the summer. My internal body temperature already runs hot. It was torture.

That park is gorgeous, but what an absolutely stupid decision. Right up there with Jerrah building the Cowboys' stadium on the wrong axis so you have the issue with the afternoon sun and those massive windows.

Went to a couple of Ranger games there over the years, and roasted...

Have synthesizers, will travel...
