I received this online yesterday. It shows the total paid to me last year from every company that pays thru that platform. It does not consider that several of those companies will be sending 1099's that I must report. Nor does it know how much I was paid in reimbursements that are not taxable.
I have a form that I created that shows me the total year's fees and one column for reimbursements. That part is easy to calculate.
Some companies do not use PayPal. ( a Closer Look)
I use Turbo tax and guess I will calculate how much of the total were fees and how much were reimbursements.
It appears that I will just need to add up the amount that was for reimbursements and subtract it from the total. Mileage will be a different deduction but when I get gas and the $1 item in the store, that will be reimbursement.
