Kroger's: Today or next week?

Bob, I'm sorry.. I have the email that she put the date in. She lied, and I don't know if she lied to me or to all of the folks that she schedules. I only checked when I woke up to make sure everything was hunky dory to drive to the next state to do the last 2 of my scheduled shops for the current round (whiplash from doing Ipshitz shops that get pulled with no notice).

I've looked at the guidelines. It looks like we don't have to ask any questions. They've just added the bakery and deli to the people. We have to get names and descriptions for.
I read the instructions, strawberries are lumped in with all of the berries now, and the avocados are gone. Salmon is gone, thank goodness, I'm so tired of smelling rotten fish. They added the deli and bakery, but we only have to say hi to the deli person, and now I get to complain about my favorite bread never being in stock!..

This seems like a win for me. just one extra step, and a few of the other steps have been pared down. I go to the bakery to try and find my olive oil and rosemary bread in every store, only a couple stores ever have it, and now I get to point out that they don't stock enough of the La Brea Bakery bread all of the time.
Morled, in that my scheduler added 2 question marks, I do not think a final decision had been made. Thank you for sharing what you believed to be accurate.
Pick-up went fast in my area. But I made out all good.

Morledzep, I think we have the same scheduler. I don't think I got an email, but assumed shops would get released today.
Seems like I ran into a self assign limit of four competitors per cycle. I always forget. I had to break down and take some Kroger pickups.
Has anyone noticed the fee structure isn't clear? Says the same reimburesment for up to $9 and pay $9 but at the bottom it says reimbursement $10 and pay $10. So which is it?
In my area, I assume $10/$10 on the payment and reimbursement fields. Probably forgot to update the notes.
Thanks, however, over the years I've learned not to assume because I always seem to assume wrong. I've emailed Amy and will post her response once I receive it.
Yes the instructions still say $9/$9, but the shop shows $10/$10. You get paid by what the shop says, not what the instructions say.

Okie, I changed my calendar to reflect the other date, for the entire year. Not changing it back until they deal with the extra week, I'll just keep both dates scheduled for now.
yep mel, but last year at the end of their fiscal year they skipped a week. This year it didn't happen, even though some of us were told that it would.
Reviewing the instructions for the new In-Store shops. First, they state the 3 items for a total of $9 or more. But $10 is the reimbursement. Produce: Check berries, grapes are out. Service Deli: Associate greeting and description,; check warmer for rotisserie chicken and 8 piece fried chicken: either Artisan breads or cakes; and Sweets tables. Meats: chicken, baby back ribs and ground beef. Overall fullness of meat department. All other areas the same: entrance, milk, eggs yogurt and front end.

Do not read so much, look about you and think of what you see there.

Did I miss something? I thought it was clear that the release would be on January 29. I posted that.
Bay, there seems to have been a tad of confusion. One scheduler stated in an E-letter the date of 02/05; the one for my area, typed 01/29 ??. It is my opinion, the company was, for whatever reason, uncertain. Had it only been one scheduler, it could be attributed to an error, but TWO? It is a wonder that with so many clients, companies are able to keep everything so straight.

Oh, my scheduler is on the ball every single time. Sorry that you're dealing with that.
I received an email, probably from my scheduler, but I didn't save it (which is very strange for me) about the changes to the instore shops, and that the new shops would be released on February 5. So I changed all of my calendars to reflect that. I had 2 Kroger shops scheduled for Jan 29. Since Ipshitz screwed me by removing my shops several times, I've started rechecking and making sure that the shops are still there with ALL of the MSCs before I leave the house. No point in driving 2 hours to the next state only to do a shop and not get paid. Anyway, I saw that there were 78 Kroger shops available when I checked. So I rescheduled the shops for the 30th and spent the rest of the afternoon scheduling the new round of shops and apologizing for Bob for giving him wrong info.
I did the in-store shop. The deli/bakery area evaluation went well. The stores I go to, the counter is usually not very busy or gets much traffic.

The employee description items to mark though, I wish it wasn't a long list of checkboxes and the categories stuck out more. But choices seem more simplified.
