I really need to make some money, like right now

So, I'm hoping someone knows of some shops that have a fast turn around on pay and are not completely odious (and actually worth the pay) to do.

Any thoughts?

Circle K jobs on Presto get reviewed and paid pretty quickly. In my area, they're $10 right now. They take 10 minutes to do and you get reimbursed for $3 gas and $3 item. In rural areas, the price goes up higher near the end of the month.

In Touch pays every second week. Not the highest of pay but easy reports.
I'm in Alberta and do a few gas stations and Grocery store shops.

They don't seem to have much work, but Observa often pays via Paypal the same day. Field Agent is often the same day, but you have to transfer the funds which is still really fast. Presto jobs usually pay twice a week.

Yeah, I know some of them are actually mystery shops that pay on a normal mystery shop schedule, though. I'm never sure if any of the ones that aren't "M" are on the quicker pay schedule or not

There are some high paying projects listed on IPSOS/Sassie/Web&Phone Shops.

Hmm, I'm not sure how many Circle K jobs there are around here. We have a few of the Circle Ks but not too many. I did a search on Presto under Circle K but nothing seems to be popping up. Not sure if that's the right search or not.

I went to the website. I'm pretty sure I'm signed up for them, but when you get into the "login" screen, there's Sassie, Shopmetrics, ISecretShop and GSC.. are you recommending a specific one?

Those sound decent, and pay for gas, I'm thinking.. but I searched Circle K on my app (I know we have at least a couple around here) and nothing came up. Are they listed under something specific?

If you're that desperate check then all.

Observa is my go-to for fast pay when quick cash influx is needed. And now is one of those times. Unfortunately, there are no strictly photo obersvatuons currently in my area. There are some shelf management opportunities which requirie speaking to an employee to place an order for out-of-stock items. I've avoided those in the past, but may take the plunge on a few of tĥese

I've also used Sassie, different jobs there
I'd check all of them.

Well, I guess ... and maybe "right now" was the wrong phrasing to use, but it's in relation to the "pay in 45 days" or thereabouts of most mystery shopping companies. I need a turn around that is within a few weeks, tops. I mean, the quicker the better, but up to a few weeks would be fine. Like all those Presto shops.. I've done a bunch of night audits and I'm waiting for that money to come in, and it's started trickling in, but I have a bunch of bills coming due and I haven't had any work from my "work from home" employer. So, it's rather a preventative measure, but I'm going to need to make sure I have money coming in after the "quick turn around" as well, so those suggestions are great too. Thank you

I used to do stuff for merchandiser, but they lowered their pay rates, and they were just barely worth it when they paid more. Their time predictions were always off... they'd say 10-15 minutes, and it would take 40 because any time you involve having to work with a manager, it almost always takes a crazy amount of time to complete. Planning a route with them was insane.. I'd plan one based on their times, and wind up doing half of them because of how long it took. The shelf management or merchandising opportunities were usually a lot longer than predicted. That's why I moved away from them. Last time I checked them, they offered me a "route" that paid $900, because every shop in the area didn't have someone to do it, but they only wanted to pay $10 per shop - and I don't remember specifically what it was, but it involved dealing with the manager on site.

I think I've got Observa on my phone. I'll have to check that. Ohh, three photo audits. I might pick those up when I have to go in to town to drop off my UPS package.

Anything that takes you to the MSC site to apply and complete the shop is paid by the MSC. Only the ones assigned and completed through PRESTO pay twice a week.

Circle K only posts once a month. True, some areas see bonuses, but they start at only $5 and go fast at that rate in my area.

Thanks for sharing your experiences with Merchandiser. My experiences with Observa have wisened me up to the inaccuracy of their stated estimated times. I kinda figured having to work with a manager would take a bit of time, but not as much as you mentioned. Waiting a few days to see if the fee will go up (only four days left). They have merchandising gigs, one for a frozen food and one for t-shirts, at two different stores in my area. One of the stores I try to avoid, so that leaves t-shirt merchandising.

Well, your experience may well be different with managers/merchandiser. I live in the DC Metro area, and everyone here is very self-important. They're not really all that worried about your schedule or what it's costing you (and they may be completely clueless or never have thought about it, or think you're being paid hourly.) But, in dealing with managers here, they're always in the middle of something, and I've even tried calling to give them a heads up that I'm on the way or set a time with them (which resulted in me calling back to update the times when the shops before them didn't go as planned). But, even just to get there and call them to tell them that you're there, usually a 10 minute wait off the bat. Otherwise, I would have liked the shops well enough. If they paid just a bit more, they'd be worth it. Like, if they paid $20 a shop, and you were able to complete that and get to the next shop within an hour, that's $20 an hour. That's not bad money. I just haven't found a really good way to do it, honestly.

The other thing about Merchandiser is they pay their favorite people first (disclaimer: this was my experience years ago, they may have changed this procedure). And if you've had troubles with their shops, like completing them all because you built your route based on how long they estimated (and I usually doubled that, just to be on the safe side), and then you can't get them all done on that day.. they used to just make you get paid at the end of their pay cycle, which was often several days after they were supposed to pay. They outed themselves to a friend of mine who did work for them, blatantly admitting that they paid their favorite shoppers first, and their least favorite at the end.

In any case, under-estimated times, deliberately I feel, seems to be a thing with most mystery shopping companies who want to play on the shoppers' ethics to complete a shop once they've accepted it even if the shop is grossly underestimated, just so they get their quota for the company met.

Bob comments--I was also paid today for two prior jobs; one was approx. 30 days ago and the other 15. Personally, I did not have the slightest problem with the time frame of my previous payments, but I know those in need will be pleased with this change.

16 yrs. ago, I completed both my first and last shop requiring I coordinate with job management. I vividly recall sitting and waiting in excess of 30 mins.; that was enough for me. In addition, far too many MSCs compute distance employing the CFM method.

If you want a fast turn around, DO NOT do Chevrons. I am still waiting for mine to be reviewed after a very long time (and I have a lot of them). Also, be careful of the jobs you do on Presto. Read how long it takes for them to be reviewed before accepting them. Some of them takes a very long time.

IVueIt pays quickly to. Same idea as Observa but the people in charge are much friendlier.

I do not have a problem with the Chevron turn around time for pay. Yes, it can take a while to review, but usually still within the MSC's pay cycle, that is still fast. Several thousands of those drop at the same time, so I know editing is slammed by those. But, when they do edit them, they do all those outstanding on the same day, I have found. I usually see mine all edited by Saturday/Sunday, when they have been sitting there.

Just FYI--there are LOTS of complaints on the BBB website about Merchandiser by Survey. If this is the same app/company, I would steer clear of them.

The few Circle K that were still remaining in my area did not appear after they did the update on Sassie last Sunday morning.

I recommended the open a Wells Fargo account shops.l for high money fast. All you need is $25 investment and pays quickly more than most shops. Phone store shops are no investment and quick pay. Tour some fitness centers. These are good for no investment.
