Why scheduler says with " iPhone" ?

I see some shops that require the use of an IPHONE ?? Is it because the scheduler use one ?????
Both android and iPhone do the same basic thing...

Are you asking about the Curinos shops that involve banking? It's because of a screen share thing that works on iphone that does not work with android. I have both. I appreciate they eliminate half (or more) of the shoppers because of the requirement. You don't have to have the most current iphone model. Buy a used one or borrow one if you really want to do some of the shops.

I'm not aware of another shop posting requiring I-phone
That reminds me of the online shopping project a few years back where we had to use specific OSes and browsers. Haven't seen them recently, though.
If I'm thinking about the same shop sestrahelena referenced, I did something similar hbbigdaddy mentioned, and purchased a device with the other operating system.
I think it might be a case of the soda = coke in some places. The folks in this nasty town here all seem to have iPhones, when I did that buy and return cell phone shop. It took 3 tries to get the salesguy to understand the iPhone I wanted was made by LG.
I just did a shop today that required an I Phone. Its a shop I have done for them a few times because very few know they qualify so they got in touch to ask me to do it again last minute. I let them know I do not have an IPhone. The scheduler said it was because an IPhone can take a screenshot and get the entire page (I dont know the terminology for this but a cell phone page that scrolls down for more than one screen) whereas an android will only screenshot what is on the actual screen and not the rest of the page you have to scroll to. She said if I can get the screenshots it was okay to use an Android. I did have to take two or three screenshots for each of the pages but I was able to do it. This was for the company that does screenshots of medical and insurance industry websites and apps.
So it doesn't hurt to ask if you don't have an Iphone. I have already asked Curinos and the answer was no.
Android has a built-in security function that does not allow you to screenshot banking information directly from the device. Apple devices don't have the same restrictions. There are ways around it, but most of the time if it's a secure or it thinks it's a secure site, you're not going to be able to grab a screenshot and you'll end up with a blank black box.
Yes, Android will allow you to take a screenshot of the full page. I have used this function several times. You could probably google for the instructions.
It has nothing to do with screenshots. It has to do with screen sharing and security settings

Not with anything that's banking related. There is built-in security that won't let you screenshot anything that is financial or that it thinks is privileged.

It just shows as a black screen when you go back and look at your screen grab.

Android's FLAG_SECURE flag prevents screenshots and non-secure display of windows. This helps protect sensitive information in apps like banking apps and password managers.
How it works
The FLAG_SECURE flag prevents screenshots from being taken
It prevents the window from being displayed on non-secure displays, like a TV or projector
When a window is flagged with FLAG_SECURE, the resulting image of a screenshot is blank

yes Purple, but he never called it anything but iPhone. He never said cell phone, or even just phone.

This sounded interesting.

I logged into my bank account and took a screenshot of a page. I was able to open it and see it in my photos.
Google Pixel 6 - Android

Not sure if this is what you meant.

Yes that is true for the Curinos shops but the shop I did was not for Curinos and the reason they wanted I PHone was due to the issue of being able to take a screenshot with Android. My shop was not a bank but instead an Insurance company and my phone let me do the screenshots so they allowed me to use it.

My screenshot job was not banking but I just logged in with my Pixel 3a and successfully took a screenshot of my bank acct using the app, not the website . It was a page that listed my net worth at that bank.
