IF one qualifies, the best paying shop

Last week, I completed a Curinos AKA Informa shop seated at my desk for $150. I noted my total time; it was 56 minutes. This morning, I received an offer, for which I did not qualify. The company needs 4 shoppers, with specific credit scores of 701 to 720 and 760 to 780. The letter stated a completion time of 40 minutes, but if this were your first job with them, I would double that time.

To allay any fears this work has no effect upon credit scores, I have completed computer work for this MSC since 2014 and regular visits going back 17 yrs. The only occasion where I experienced a drop was when I accepted a shop requiring a hard pull; I took that job for double pay and well understood the outcome of my decision.

I saw this one but my credit score is over 800 and I have slightly more than $100,000 left on my mortgage. You're right, and it's now up to 160.

Food, mentioning his/her score, brought a situation to my mind. There are 3 credit bureaus, with scores that I have seen 30 to 40 points from the highest to lowest. Curinos, AKA Informa, states which bureau number the assignment requires. For my post of available work, it was Transunion. Which, if memory correctly serves, has always been in the middle for me.

I love these shops and when my credit score qualifies/comes around along with the rotation qualification.

Is this the one that required an Iphone? That disqualified me.

Pam, the work I mentioned in my post for Curinos, definitely does NOT require an iPhone. They do have jobs where one is necessary, but the incomes I have always noticed exceed mine and require a W-2.

Thanks for sharing, shopperbob! I plan on trying a Curinos shop in the future. I received an email a couple of weeks ago about a shop that required opening a Certificate of Deposit. This shop seemed simple and practical enough. I replied to the email, but the scheduler let me know that it was already filled.

I had a question. For Curinos, is the only way to get assigned a shop is by responding to the scheduler's email with the requested information?

My experience is that you have to respond to the scheduler and attach whatever supporting documentation (usually free credit report screenshots) requested in the initial email. For some projects, after you do the initial shop, the person you are working with may assign additional shops, often once per month as long as you continue to qualify.

Okie, due to the excellent work:pay ratio, sometimes the shops go fast. I missed one two wks. ago, even though I responded in less than an hr.

I do not have anything to add to the reply of Myst, as his/her recount was how the system has worked for me. As to completion, merely follow the guidelines, submit the reports and in approx. 30 to 45 days you will receive an E-letter from Tipalti informing you your money has been deposited. No drive time, no expense, no male bovine manure.

I have done a few of these, they are great when you do qualify. The iphone requirement takes me out quite a bit. My credit score has improved over the past year so it definitely does not affect your credit. My score is also now over 800 which is crazy to me. Took alot of hard work to get it there (aka... stop spending).

For those who asked about needing an IPhone the answer is no. Many of their shops are done on a lap or desk top. And not all their shops get filled quickly. I have gotten some where I have had the leisure time to send the scheduler a query and after getting my response apply the next day or a few days later. Just depends on how many shoppers out there meet the criteria for the particular shop.
They recently seemed to have trouble filling a shop that required a low credit score but no delinquencies or other usual reasons for bad credit. Unless they had a whole bunch of those same shops to fill I kept seeing the same shop advertised for weeks.

The iphone requirement is for opening bank accounts and credit cards. You don't need the iphone for doing student loan shops on a computer.
