Anyone else with a Google Pixel having trouble screenshotting an email order confirmation?

I've had the Samsung Galaxy line for a while, but have not been satisfied so I switched to a Google pixel. I noticed that every time I try to screenshot and order confirmation from my email it will not let me capture more and extend the entire picture. Instead, it repeats itself over and over. It does not do this in any other app or screenshot mode, but I have also tried desktop version Gmail and it does the same. Does anyone else have this issue and is there a workaround?

My Pixel 7 Pro takes tiny screenshots. I try to avoid needing screenshots from my Pixel as often as possible. The best screenshots are from my desktop computer, but even then, sometimes I have to take two shots to get the entire email or receipt. I have used the ctrl-p function to get a print preview, and then do a screenshot of that. I like to get the confirmation email screenshots on my tablet, that is a Samsung, and it gives me more of the email, and sometimes even the whole email if I scroll down a little and remove the part with the email addresses and irrelevant nonsense and the top.

I do not have any Android devices, but I have shown someone on theirs how I do the screenshot when you cannot see the whole page. It works on both Android and IOS platforms. I just pinch the screen (with one hand), on the email page I am trying to capture, to shrink it slightly until I see the entire page. Then I use my other hand to quickly take the screenshot while I still have my pinched size in place with the other hand. Otherwise, I do as @Morledzep does with a tablet or laptop which has a larger view captured.

My email receipt hack is to tell my phone to print the email which turns it into a pdf. Then I save the pdf and attach that to report.

I've done that or taken a screenshot of the PDF preview if the upload doesn't allow a PDF. I just don't like the layout and it's more steps. I think I read that it's a known issue with Gmail and the Pixel but Google has no intent on fixing it. This blows my mind since it seems like such an easy fix. Never had an issue with any other phone.

I feel your pain. I have never hated a fully functional phone as much as I hate this Pixel. When I can finally be rid of this awful thing I guess I'll have to bite the bullet and go back to Samsung phones. I know i'm just wishing, but LG needs to get their heads out of their hineys and go back to making better phones than Samsung. If they need to abandon an entire sector of products, they could easily stop making washers and dryers, they are crap, they smell bad and they don't work for two entire years at a time.
