Five Guys 2 Receipts

Did the MSC send a notice that guidelines had changed recently? I did one today. The questions are differerent and numbered differently. They now require 2 different receipts. They want the regular receipt and the yellow one they put on the bag. I have seen nothing about the change. I checked my emails and saw nothing. Of course, I threw it away. I have a feeling I just did a free job for them!

I just tried retaking the 5 Guys Cetification test. They marked 1 receipt as a wrong answer.

BTW, does anyone know the store numbers that are supposed to be in the test manual? They are nowhere in sight in the .pdf test manual the helpdesk sent me. I need them to pass the certification test.
You would think that with a major change they would have everyone retake the certification test. Thanks for replying!

Hopefully they will pay you for the report even though you didn't see it in the guidelines and it was not mentioned.
My scheduler told me about the change.

Literally no one from the company told me about the change. Thankfully, I read it on here. I just picked one up yesterday due to a text begging me to complete one. No mention of the other receipt (from the scheduler)
Just clicked on a current shop and this is new to me:
Do you need to order a milkshake for this to be a valid shop? Yes, if this location sells them. Not sure $5.50 is enough for a milkshake reimbursement though.

Your CPI will tell you whether you need to order a milkshake. In my experience it is a rare occurrence but has shown up about every other month on the delivery shops.
I think this changed in October? I like to save to guidelines with the dates, and I've got one from a shop on 10/16 that doesn't have it and one from 10/17 that does.
It took a few days for them to approve it, but they did! I have done two since then and took pictures of both receipts.
Only a small percentage of shops require a milkshake. Always check your CPI.

In my area, $5.50 will ot cover the cost of a milkshake even before sales tax.

Shopping Southeast Pennsylvania, Delaware above the canal, and South Jersey since 2008
The shake is now $6.99 by us. A burger, fries, and drink is $17.99 and they ask for a tip on top of this.
I did a Five Guys for lunch today. The report has changed. They got rid of the question where they want to know how enthusiastic the employees were. I had to re-certify, and during the recertification test, it mentioned the two receipts. But i heard it here first.
No one mentioned the DOUBLING of the text field. Used to be 500 characters max. Now it's 1000. I usually never hit the max, but every once in awhile you might need to explain something and 500 characters was not enough even with single spacing and abbreviations. Glad to see they expanded it for those situations where it might need more text.
I DO NOT know if they sent out a notice but my goodness it's a major change! I've done perhaps 108 FG shops, I've had only 1 invalidated . NOW, I did one close to home for $18 and if they invalidate it - fine - rules are rules but I will NOT do them for under $25 again. They could've told us in a better more noticeable way. Really I've said good things about this MSC and I meant them - but they really should give us a mulligan on this. I got the legit receipt and the rest of the shop info is perfect. I didn't get a "you gotta re-take the test" - or I'd have known. NOT fair in my opinion. They can do what they want, but I'll just double up on ACL and IntelliShop stuff this year and do less of this MSC, if any.
I'm wondering why I was never prompted to re-certify. Then I'd have known about this because I'd have failed the test.

I wasn't, either. I'm not sure if it was because I was assigned by a phone scheduler. Fortunately, I always bring home the bag since I don't finish the food there. The new questions were also a surprise. They want to know if the Cajun seasoning (and salt) was too little, too much or just right. But they don't tell you how to judge it. One change I did like is that you don't need to give the cashier description anymore. That was the one thing (other than timings) I had to save in a memo after each shop.
glad that bringing home the bag is part of your routine. But it rubs me the wrong way that they didn't give better notice of such a major update. If only I was forced to re-test - no problem! Or even a big one liner "2 receipts needed! See the guidelines!"

In fairness I should write that on the Company Discussion board I just brought this up and Sherri from MF wrote a post saying there's a grace period. See her post there for her exact words. But I am thankful for the reply and if there is a grace period, that is fair and I appreciate that and life goes on
