I know it has been a while since I've done a 5Guys shop, but I don't remember any employee descriptions other than the color of the shirt that the cashier and the manager were wearing.
I recall the guidelines said it's OK if you don't get the second receipt. They'll still accept if you only have the one from the register.

EDIT -- The guidelines now say "Provide a photo of BOTH receipts with your shop or your shop could be invalidated". But they are saying "could", not "will". I figure if they forget to give me this other receipt, it makes more sense to not ask about it since that might make them think I'm a shopper.

They've asked for gender, height (within a 4-inch range, like 5'4"-5-8", 5'8"-6', etc.), hair color, approximate age, ethnicity (!), beard yes or no, mustache yes or no, glasses yes or no.

Not that I do many anymore, as there has been an explosion of bottom feeding in places within my range, and they tend to disappear at base or close to it now.

Always thought it should have defaulted to "no" for mustache/beard questions when selecting female. I hate that I have to enter those fields too. They could make it default to "no" and then allow you to use a yes if there was a hairy faced female.

When you don't pay for good coders to write the programs, that's what you get.
Not so sure it's about coders in today's world......

Nonetheless, it is a good idea and should be implemented!
Some reports when you mark "no" to a question will erase the whole next section of follow up questions. Others, AKA Coyle will make you mark N/A and copy and paste "Not Applicable" in 15 questions.

I've had to provide two receipts for at least a couple months. I haven't had to recertify lately, either. I wonder if they're rolling this out a few locations at a time?

Correct, the two receipts request has been there for a while, it just wasn't blatantly obvious. We're not mandating recertification for just this question.
I have no problem giving a general description of a person. But I won't offer an ethnicity, or skin color. And I'm hesitant describing gender, I'm not asking anyone what their gender or their pronouns are. If that stuff is required I guess I still won't be doing 5 Guys. I guess it doesn't matter much here anyway, they all disappear long before they get to a pay amount that I'm willing to take.

I sure do miss the french fries though..

One of my credit card's monthly dining credit swapped out Shake Shack for Five Guys some months back. So sad, but it looks like Five Guys is back in the rotation now!
duplicate post ... peeved

And I'm the one with no common sense?! Sorry, I couldn't help myself. The irony here.
I was surprised to see that I needed two receipts today. I missed seeing that change. I hope it is accepted. Easy fix for the next one. The form has some changes, but nothing that I couldn't answer easily.

No, they have not. I just got my first request for this on 12/27 from the report form. Everything before that was 1 receipt. An alert to the new requirements would have been appreciated.
I've yet to receive anything asking for two receipts, and I just did a Five Guys last weekend.

When I wasn't certified the delivery shop had a $15 shop fee, when I got certified the fee was $10.
I saw the same thing today. It would help to make this more obvious. Thank you for making this thread. I never would have known otherwise!

Really? Have you met a lot of women with mustaches or beards?

I think it’s much more probable that wrosie is correct regarding the cheap coding rather than the reason you’re implying.
@DT

Maybe we are reading @mfisherri response differently. I think she is defending the MSC coders her company employs.

I'm a software engineer. Many in the company I work for use the "I give you what you ask for" mentality. So if the business does not give the requirements correctly, then you get a coder who doesn't ask the questions and just gives the business what they ask for.

I would venture to say the business side was sloppy with the requirements and did not ask to have it default to blank/not required and the coder did as simply as they asked.

@mfisherri thinks it's a good suggestion and maybe we will see it implemented in the future. It is not a hard change to make, but it certainly isn't a high priority for them either.
Sarcasm with a side of appreciation.
I do think it's a good idea, but to bigdaddy's point, not high on the priority list smiling smiley
