Ever re-scheduled for weather? 5 guys

I've never flaked - ever. I've got a bonuses FG and today is the day - not available tomorrow. I sent an email to help desk with the truth - that there's severe rain, wind, power lines, etc forecasted and can I do it tomorrow.

Curious if anyone here has been in that situation? Thanks

I've certainly offered to reschedule due to driving conditions. They wouldn't re schedule, so I had to cancel.
I appreciate this MSC so I'd rather not flake and cancel. But man - you'd think I would do the shop in 24 hours---what's the difference. I guess if I cancel it's on me to take the risk of being kicked off shops.
I have carwash shops I reschedule if its even a little rainy. Who would go to a carwash in the rain?
In Dec. of 2022, I asked to shop a day early, due to a snow storm forecast; the scheduler declined my request. As the four shops were all in BFE, I canceled. Five days later, all roads had been cleared, so I again selected all four and each had been bummed up $10. The client was Kroger, so I was/am certain it was their policy. It certainly worked for me to earn an extra $40.
I had a deadline shop, several years ago that I had to cancel because of severe weather. I’m still shopping for them, so I don’t think it affected me much. I’ve been shopping for them for around 15 years and have only canceled two shops.
I have canceled for weather and it did not effect me at all. You will probably lose the bonus. Its better to lose a bonus than lose your life or wreck your car and owe a deductable.
Actually, no, I cannot remember ever having to reschedule a shop because of the weather.
I've done shops in inclement weather before, but if my county puts in a "do not travel" restriction or "necessary travel only", I respect it and will cancel or reschedule shops. We are getting a blast of wintry weather right now which will have visibility down to 1 mile for a few hours. Forecast says it will be nasty for a few hours, blow through and then leave us with frigid air for tomorrow. I wouldn't travel tonight but I'd brave the cold tomorrow as long as the roads aren't dangerous. Any company that wants you to risk your health and safety, and/or violate a county/state order isn't one I would want to work for anyway.
