Kroger Self Assign Glitches

I think I must be maxed out on some of my closest stores for Pickups, I could not self assign. For others, if I waited the self-assign drop down would eventually pop up. I could still do instore shops there, though.

Any one else having self assign issues today?

I still got a good selection, just not my two favorite stores.

yep, looks like the website is struggling. That's ok, I've got most of what I wanted. But I'll keep trying. I'm maxed out on a lot of the local shops, so I've expanded into other cities and going back to TN 2 days this round too.
In my area, I prioritized a good number of competitor pick-ups. The Kroger pick-ups went fast, but I didn't look into those.
A quick comment and 2 questions:

1-As I have zero interest in pick-ups, there is nothing for me to add to the thread.
2-When the date page first appeared for all 15 shops, it stated I must contact the scheduler. After approx. five seconds. that line disappeared and was replaced by the date choice box. I do not recall that in the past two yrs. of this MSC having the client. Has that always been the procedure?
3-I erred by assigning a store twice, 18 days between visits. I was not aware that was possible, but obviously I was mistaken or the program flubbed. Any thoughts?
For me, I have been experiencing the same, where initially the location is not available to self-assign. After maybe two to three minutes though, it will later become available to self-assign. However for me, some locations are no longer available to self-assign, at all.

I believe you can self-assign up to two in-store visits at the same location within one round, if it's available.
I've noticed the sign up delay issue for the past few months now. I think it's just the system being bogged down. At least no major hangups this time!
Bob,
I notice the same thing on item 2. I attribute it to letting the page finish loading.
For item 3, if the system lets you assign a shop, you are golden, unless there is a system problem. My understanding is same as Okie in that you can assign 2 in store shops per cycle.

I have also (mistakenly) assigned two shops per round at the same store, but I think the system will block you from taking them too close together. If you can assign, you're good.

We had our competitor pickups in November.

I vaguely recall an email from our scheduler about an annual max on pickups per store, or it could be "please space them out over the year" instruction is programmed into the system.

But I was able to pick up my self-imposed monthly maxium before they all disappeared.. Maybe in January I can get my local.
The system is all screwed up right now from my perspective. I tested it by selecting several stores in cities I have never visited and still was unable to self-assign.
I had the same issues described by others. It was a little confusing to know if it would switch to showing a date or stick with the contact the scheduler message. In the end, my two closest stores never showed as available. I'm pretty sure I've hit the 15 shop max for them so it makes sense.

Overall, it wasn't too bad but the pickups really did fly off the board quickly.
Did anyone notice new in store shops this morning? $10 fee and $10 reimbursement instead of $9.

Not in California.
I just noticed as well. I'm picking up a couple more shops to fill out my schedule and figure I'll grab these instead of the $9/$9 shops. Plus, they say you can do either full-service or self-checkout, which makes it easy to adjust in the store if lines are long.

If you are looking for them, look for the ones that say "Grocery Purchase" in the Scenario column.
I could have scheduled three shops at the same store this cycle if I wanted. The Grocery Purchase shops have some differences such as visiting the Deli: (similar to Produce and Meat Counter in the other shops) and whether or not you were acknowledged by associates in other sections when you came close to them. I'm guessing the three associates need a description while the others just whether or not they greeted you, but not sure because I did not look at the questions.

Do not read so much, look about you and think of what you see there.

After the shops were assigned, there were a bunch of them that started immediately. All in-store shops. I picked up one for the next day. Completed the shop, did not submit it on site only to have received an email stating not to do them and that the shop would be reassigned for another day. Bummer.

On the issue of maxing out on your favorite store, we received an email from our California scheduler.

She noted that "A lot of you are at your self-assignment limits for certain locations for the Kroger project. I can override this, but you need to give me clear instructions when you email me." (Further instruction in her email on how to do this).

Also not related to the upcoming January shops but for February: "February 2 is also the first day of Kroger’s new fiscal year, which means all self-assignment limits will reset and this is also when the NEW INSTRUCTIONS and NEW SURVEY will be in effect."

Maybe we all will be seeing those $10/10 projects that some of you had as test shops.

As far as how to do these, the assignment will contain guidelines which you can see before you accept a shop. See the tab for "Review Instructions".
