Banned by TXR will I ever be reinstated?

Has anyone been banned by TXR and then reinstated? The MSC says I will be reinstated, but I doubt it.

yes, i'm curious how you even got banned to begin with like @gigishopper

flake on a shop? piss off a particular scheduler? something else?
It can be one of the mysteries of the ages. I am banned with no further information in my 'file' of why or by who. Prior to that my scores were 9 and 10.
In that others have chimed in, I will follow suit.

In the Fall of 2021, and as a courtesy, I sent the Nikster a letter explaining I was not able to select a specific TXRH and that E-mail concerning that location was unnecessary; I was terminated. It has always been my opinion, she misunderstood me. As it has never been a flake of skin off my arse, I simply moved on.
I'm not advocating for one course of action or another, but if needed, you could ask the scheduler to clear things up.
Okie, if your last post was directed to me, since my termination, I have enjoyed one free meal annually, 10% off any day, a 20% discount on Mondays and 30% once a yr.; a veteran's benefit. In addition, I dine before the crowd, blaring country music and boot scooters, any day I wish and at any hour. Finally, no report to submit. I am perfectly content to remain terminated.

Unfortunately, my last three visits to the Roadhouse have been a slight disappointment. The fries have been greasy, the steak not as flavorful and cherry tomatoes were missing from my salad; I still enjoyed my meals.
@shopperbob

I know you are okay with being terminated and not being able to do TXRH, but I have a hard time spending my money at a place where I could be paid to go instead. It doesn't sit well with me to spend $ when I could be making it. The report is easy. If it was a narrative-intense company (i can think of 2), then I agree, I would not want to do the report.

But even worse, now you are paying for the food and your last 3 times were not up to your standards. I'd rather have them pay for my food so that I don't feel cheated.

The only place I can think of where I will gladly spend my own money (without doing a shop) is In N Out burger. They quality and value can't be beat.

shopperbob, Sorry my post was for Guitarzan.

Guitarzan, In this case, you can look to clear things up with the scheduler and MSC, if needed. It could be a simple reinstatement. But you won't know, if you don't further ask about something you're doubtful/unsure about.
I have no idea. The MSA would not tell me or giving me any details. I’m only guessing they saw me take a photo of my receipt at the bar.
I can only comment on my own experience. I wasn't able to complete a shop on the scheduled day and had to reschedule. But later when a new round of shops were available, I wasn't able to self-assign. The scheduler was able to resolve the issue for me.

Who did you reach out to?
Daddy, my reason for my position has to do with attitude. I became self-employed in the Fall of 1963 and learned over the decades that I, to be successful, needed to establish a manner of business. Mine is that once I have moved one, I am gone. In addition to business, this attitude has served me quite well, as a life long single male, with women.

As it applies to the Roadhouse, the fact I receive veteran's discounts, dislike load noise, am not a fan of country music* and try, but fail, to ignore the boot scooters balances out this situation.

*The country of 2024 is not the Country & Western of 70 yrs. ago. No Marty Robbins, Hank Snow, Ferlin Husky, Roy Rogers, Gene Autry, Tex Ritter, Carl Perkins et al.
Okie, The scheduler, and her equally corrupt partner, will do their best to make your life miserable with any and ALL MSC's they schedule for. For that MSC, and for another MSC, I show a 10 rating, with my last shop for them also being rated 10. Yet I can't self-assign anything, or apply for any shops on their websites, because someone who shall remain nameless and her equally corrupt partner have blocked me from ALL of their clients. So I have a great reputation, but can't work for at least 2 different MSC's. I may find more sooner or later.
Morledzep, that's unfortunate and good to share. Sorry, I get off-topic and now try to stay out of certain types of threads, unless my experience has been somewhat different.

With dining shops like TRH, I am always aware that the more specifics I give in the reports, the more likely I am to be pegged as the mystery shopper on future visits. I try to be general, like saying my side item instead of saying my vegetables, when appropriate. But sometimes an incident happens where there is no way to get out of it. Like when no one takes our order for 15 minutes and I have to track someone down, and the manager comes out to apologize. This will be memorable. I don't know if something like this happened to you, but it is a definite possibility. I didn't get banned in this case, as far as I know, but I never applied for moreshops, mainly because I was getting tired of the food and at the time we had to spend an entire hour there.
Thank you.
Your response was very helpful. I complained about a burned steak, and the manager spoke to me and replaced it. I included this comment on my evaluation, and I bet TRH management connected the dots.

Did you email the scheduler? They should give you some clarification
I could see being "banned" from that particular location for a period of time. I would not understand being banned from all other locations. Unless it's just easier to apply a "blanket" rule for all of them.

I remember being banned from a particular fast food place, but it was only the 1 location. Different MSC though.

Who was it? Elise or Nikki? Did you try to reach out to Robin?

Hmm that seems weird. I can't remember how many times I have sent back steaks doing one of these shops, and no ban yet!

I have been banned from the auto web shops with this MSC though. I was never informed, I just noticed that I never got assigned any, and that my applications were magically deleted even when the shops had not been assigned to someone else. I sent two emails to the scheduler Cindy about six months apart, asking why I was banned and if I could be reinstated, but she didn't have the courtesy to respond to either email. So, it's not always as simple as just asking.
I think I completed my first shop through Robin Myers 16 yrs. ago and my last in Oct. of this yr. She has ALWAYS replied to my queries in a concise and considerate manner. I was terminated from the MSC in 2021, but the company purchased a competitor and I am contracted with them.
Correct me if I am wrong, but I thought if there is anything wrong with you meal you are not allowed to say anything to the server or manager?
If that were the case, they wouldn't have the following question in the report:

If at any time your experience wasn’t legendary, and you spoke with a manager. did the manager do what it takes to bring you back?

I did one in the last few days. I see @JimmyP question as well. Why would I tell the manager about my grievances and then write about them in the report? That only makes me obvious. I always say everything is okay. If it is not, it will be documented in the report.

It has been several years since I have done a TRH shop.. I don't ever remember that question ever being on the report.. I thought it only asked if you observed a manager..
