Pizza Shops

Have any of you done any of the chain pizza shops for the "who wants a burger" company? I did one a few days ago and it's still in quality control. The pizza was terrible, so I hope I'm not out the money for two pizzas that we will not eat.

I googled all of the addresses and they were all for the $5 “pizza pizza” chain, so I did not see the value in zero shop fee and a $30 reimbursement.
There are two in my area, but they need to put a fee on those shops. I am not spending $30 out of pocket for pizza without a fee.
In the period of 2005 to 2007, I was completing Papa John's jobs for $20* and having the ability to order the pie according to my wishes: The Works.

* These shops were in neighborhoods that were difficult to fill.
To add insult to injury, the company will not discclose the ordering requirement before self assigning.

I picked one up, but ended up cancelling after. The location closest to me (less than two miles) was charging close to $20 for each required pizza before third-party delivery fees. I'm lazy, but not that lazy!
That’s crazy! I would have canceled too.

I did one over the weekend and was confused as to why the examples in the guidelines showed pictures from one pizza chain while I had to shop at another. It looks like some additional shops were added with some saying "this is a competitor shop". The ones that simply say "pizza!" now only appear to be from the "fatherly pizza" place. The others ones are for a few other chains. It makes me wonder if "fatherly pizza" is sponsoring this to see how they compare to the other chains. Thoughts?

EDIT - I accidentally posted twice. I can't seem to delete my post but I can edit it. Ack!

In my area, there were four additional competitors. It was either carryout or delivery. Initially, I think only Black Friday was available to schedule. The issue with the two choices of delivery providers is that you can't change the store/location. The pizza that I wanted has an infamous carryout deal for medium sized pizzas/additional items. Unfortunately, the stars did not align for me on this one!
if this is pizza pizza chain, then it would not be like papa johns.

I remember those papa john shops where you had to flip every other slice upside down.
Same!! It’s ridiculous, and I told them that. We would have spend $30 of our own money to order what they required. Why would anyone do these?

The full guidelines are not disclosed until after the shop is accepted. The only information provided up front is that the shopper is to order two pizzas as specified in the guidelines.

What kind pf pizza did you order?
For the pizza pizza chain, I had to order a large cheese and the second pizza was a large pepperoni and Italian sausage. With all the fees and a five dollar tip it came to 34 dollars.
Never ever ever on my dime would I order that from any chain pizza place and spend $34. Im sure they are oblivious to shoppers, but it sort of screams shopper to me!
The guidelines encourage you to use coupons/offers. In my case it was $10 for a large 1 topping and $15.99 for a specialty pizza. I still added a tip even though it was carryout, and my total was just under $31. But they are going to need to make adjustments for the delivery orders, especially those that use DoorDash or Uber, if they expect anyone to be able to do the ones that cost well over $30 after adding in all the fees plus tip.
and you still did the shop even though you had to pay?

I signed for one shop and removed it becase of price without tip way over $30 they pay.

Shopping Eastern Pennsylvania since 2009
Same here. I had to do a large pepperoni and a large "Extra", which is the works. My bill was $35 and a coupon did not load properly.
They just apologized for the inconvenience and said that sometimes they only offer partial reimbursement. This one is insane though.

I paid with a discounted Doordash gift card from Gift Card Exchange (GCX). I paid 29.58 for a 34.00 gift card. So, when the MSC pays me back 30.00, I'll make an additional 42 cents!!(sarcasm)
I'm seeing quite a few of these pizza shops return to the job board. Lots of people must have gotten excited at a new shop opportunity only to realize it wasn't worth the effort/cost.

Wonder how they will bonus these and to what amounts. If I won't touch a 5G for less than $20, I don't expect I would bother with this for less than $20 either.
A bunch are listed as "hot shops" in my area, with no bonus. I picked one up for the weekend, but it was $43 just for the pizzas not counting the delivery/tip. Although the pizzas were ones we'd eat, I refuse to pay oop when there's a specific purchase requirement. At the very least, I need my food comped. So glad it was easy to cancel.
I'm willing to work for FREE food if it's Texas Roadhouse or better. Not about to do it for some pizza. There are other pizza shops I can do where I can be paid and not have the 3rd party nonsense. At least that is what I saw. I've never used any of those food delivery apps and not going to do it for a shop that pays NOTHING.
Tiffany shares--........I refuse to pay oop when there's a specific purchase requirement.

Bob opines--Although I am ignorant as to OOP, I removed those letters and I am in total agreement. The only manner by which this BS will come to a halt, is for shoppers to refuse such work. I am guessing these shops are geared toward folks who have a FREE mentality.
I never understand the idea behind "No fee is fine as long as it's free food" I mean if you only ask me for 5 questions survey with no narrative, tha's fine....But if you ever need me to take pictures outside of the receipt, and want me to give narratives, then you need to pay up. I am not the guy who stands at the freeway exit with the sign "Will work for food".....
